I like Panasonic generally but this one was defective.

I did the upgrade and reboot. This did not fix issue. I will be returning this next time I visit a beat buy

Very slow disc read and very slow response to ap loading. Interface with Netflix is ver very slow and poor. First time trying a Panasonic since vcr days. Looking at Samsung but it appears best no longer carries their brand in ultra hd 4K Blu-ray players Two bad purchase in a few weeks. Locks up more frequently than the Sony which is a bad thing.

I'm not tech savvy enough for this blu ray player!

I give up. I'm going to return this. I dont have the tech savvy I think this requires..

Has cc button, but other menus and settings are required to do so each time. Also, lots of picture quality and other options, but on-line manual does not explain them.

Good player, bad company

It's possible that you will first receive a broken unit which you will have to exchange to get a working unit. This is becoming more and more of a problem, and I am done leaving good reviews just because "they fixed the problem." When I buy a premium product, I expect it to work the first time. I don't want to be your QA team. I work a full time job and it's a pain in the rear end to find time to ship this thing (which I had to pay for, they didn't compensate me for the label). It's a good player when you actually manage to get your hands on a working one.

Doesn’t work with HULU.
