Love this 4k player. The PQ is amazing as well as the SQ. I had a Sony 6700 and picture and sound is much better. Menu has enough settings to be able to tailor the picture quality for your set. I would definitely recommend this player

I got the Panasonic UB820 after having some issues with my Sony UBP-X700 player and the upgrade has been significant. It's a substantially more powerful and responsive machine. I love the HDR tone mapping features. I've used it for both Blu-Ray and 4K Blu-Rays and it looks and sounds excellent. Whether in Dolby Vision or not, the quality of physical media compared to streaming is worth the lack of convenience (as if having to get off the couch and switch out discs is some unsurmountable task). I'll be honest and say I don't use the streaming/smart TV functions, so I can't really speak to the quality of the other functions.

Easy to set up, great picture and audio. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this player because it offers 4K and 3D playback capabilities. I have been using it for a few weeks, and I very pleased with its performance playing, 3D, 4K, Dolby Vision, also does a great job upscaling DVD and Blu-ray discs. The WiFi interface looks Archaic

This is my first 4K player and I was told it was the best. I haven't had any issues so far, so I can't complain.

I've been enjoying my Panasonic media player almost daily since I received it. It was easy to set up and synced perfectly with my Panasonic TV. I've enjoyed lots of Netflix and YouTube, as well as both CDs, DVDs, and my Blu-Ray discs. Great picture and easy to use remote.

My only complaint is that it is easy to get confused when downloading the software for alexa feature . Just be careful and be sure you have the correct one. From the play store. Mine works very well with many different brands of devices. Picture and sound of her movies is spectacular.

My only gripe would be the remote. Wish it was more universal. Besides that, its awesome.

Bought this player as an upgrade from my Samsung UBD-K8500 4k player and it's moderately better. The 4k audio and video are better on the Panasonic, but the upscaling on the Samsung for standard blu rays and even DVD's is a bit better on the Samsung. The remote of the Panasonic isn't anything fancy, but very user friendly. In the end, the Panasonic isn't quite the flagship that I was expecting, but it's still one of the better 4k player's on the market in the U.S..

The best 4K player if you care only about video, connect this to AV receiver for best audio. Otherwise get DP-UB9000 that has best video and audio.

Fantastic Blu-ray player. I never knew the importance of a good player like this one. The sound and video is fantastic, when you add to it a good AV receiver, you will be blown away

This is the best 4k blu ray player for the money. Plays 4k movies my LG 4k blu ray player has trouble with. Has analog audio out puts, but won't output HDMI digital audio and analog at the same time. This is a problem for my Onkyo Tx-sr805 receiver. The receiver needs analog audio for zone 2 and 3.

This is simply the best 4k Blu-ray player you can get for the price. My standard blurays and old DVDs have never looked better. You can even tweak peak brightness in HDR based on your display to avoid clipping highlights.

Had a Sony X800M2 that started having problems reading old DVDs. Got the Panasonic UB820K hoping to fix this. It does load faster and played some of the DVDs so we were happy. Plays 4k like a dream. Just use it to play discs. The new audio formats supported are great on our 7.2.2 surround system.

Works great and picture quality is really good and easy to use. Operating System looks outdated but works good.

This is an incredible 4k Blu-ray player! It automatically identifies the video quality of the disc it's playing and adjusts the format accordingly. It also has a built-in HDR optimizer which makes normal HD content look amazing!

So nice to have a 4k bluray player that not only provides Dolby Vision content, (Looking at you Xbox one X) But will automatically detect which HDR and sound mode is avalible and selects the best one for your system. (No need to manually select Dolby Vision or Atmos)

This Panasonic makes beautiful picture and nice atomos surround sound. I use Sony led tv (85"), Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers, 3 front, 2 surround with 2 heights and 2 Dayton Audio 12" subwoofers), Onkyo receiver and NAD 5 channel power amp. Enjoyed Star Wars 4k blue-ray movies.
