This blu-ray player changed my movie watching experience for life.

Don’t hesitate to buy this 4k player. If you enjoy movies or have an OLED you are doing yourself a disservice by use anything else to watch movies on!

Heck of a player! Loads quick,starts play quick, beautiful playback! Cheap plastic body,but apparently the goods are in the electronics. You want similar performance but metal body,go next model up,twice the price. I'm very impressed with performance of this machine!

The key to this Panny player is the tone mapping which improves the dark-to-bright contrast for high-contrast (HDR) UHD disks. It works brilliantly to maximize the visuals of today's display devices. However, it can also make standard Blu Ray discs look spectacular.

Excellent UHD player for the money. Good performance and good 4k output. Lots of output options.

Huge improvement from my old Samsung. We are using it with a LG OLED and it is a different experience. Vivid colors, very black blacks, super definition. Much better audio than what we were experiencing with the Samsung.

Great Picture and Sound Quality. Mid-level price point. Higher than some others that are probably good too. Bought to watch 4k.

Lots of options in the menu, very reliable, quiet and the most important is how great 4k movies are played with this device connected to a high end 4k smart tv. This Panasonic does not disappoint.

This player is just as good as the other reviews states. The upscaling is good, and saves the time you stopped the movie every time which is an amazing feature that is unreliable on other players.

Don’t waste your time with the other players if you need Dolby Vision and have triple layer (BD-100) discs. The Panasonic plays everything with no drama, skipping or freezing.

Most importantly, seamless layer change. Cinematic color and darkness. Simple but deep menu and controls. Makes my old DVDs look excellent. And 4K content is amazing. Nuff' said.

Maybe the best value 4K blu-ray player on the market. Works flawlessly with every disc, very fast to load, beautiful video quality. Hard to beat for the price!

Bought this for the surround sound analog audio output. The drawback to this unit is it does not play sacd nor dvd-audio. The remote control keys layout is horrible.

This is an excellent DVD/Blu-ray/4K UHD player. Blu-rays and UHD's look great of course, but even standard definition DVD's look much better than on other players. Plenty of options can be fine tuned, including sound synchronization and closed captioning display. My only small quibble is with the remote layout - it's too easy to accidentally hit the Netflix button when you're trying to do something else. All in all though, this player is on the high end of cost but is well worth the investment.

Great 4k player! Picture is amazing thanks to the fine tuning adjustments built into this player. Had a LG that was a nice player but this unit takes it to a whole new level, Your discs have never looked or sounded better!
