Just remember to look up the manual on line first and go to page 9. This page lists the playable file and media type you can play. This player can play quite a few media file types, but not all.

Too many bugs

I've watched several movies on this to see if there were any issues with different formats of disks. 4K UHD Blu-ray is where I'm having issues. This device will freeze and glitch out and random, to the point of the movie showing green and red lines and then going back to the start menu. It's nuts. When it works, it's amazing! But for this amount of money, there shouldn't be any skipping or stopping when playing the disks it was created for. I've been pretty frustrated with this thing to say the least. All my disks are brand new, no damage to them, but for some reason, the player will glitch out on every single one of them. Brand new certified high speed hdmi cables, brand new Qled TV, the whole works. But this Panasonic will be going back to the store.. The picture quality is an upgrade over my Xbox One S, but at least the Xbox didn't skip or glitch out.

Great Bluray Player! One of the best on the market

It supports all the latest video/audio formats and bluray DVDs just look amazing on the screen! It's app selection is pretty bare but I only got this to play blurays and it is simply the best at it! It is not a cheap player but you get what you pay for with it! If you have a nice TV, get this!

Audio quality is excellent. My 4K Sony tv upscale video quality do well I can barely distinguish the difference.
