This PANASONIC DP UB9000 4k player theres a reason why its expensive, it really enhances the colors and my sound was already good With a Denon AVR X4500h from BESTBUY, but now it sounds even better. I have a different 4K player and its picture does not look anything like this one. If your into home theater you have try this 4K player.

Best 4k Player available…great build quality. Highly recommended…Pricey but worth it!

I only say that because this version isnt region free, like the origional. I got my first UB 9000 more than a year ago. Absolutely love it. Zero issues with the unit. I got the P1K model yesterday and noticed on the box that the unit would only play blurays marked region code A. So i popped in a region B bluray and sure enough, it wouldnt play it. Quality appears to be the same as my first one. Had I known it wasnt region free, i probably wouldnt have bought the P1K model.

As expected with any high-end product this one does not disappoint. It's well worth every penny spent. Before I purchased this I did a lot of homework concerning 4K Blu-ray players. Hands-down this player offers a lot of bang for the buck. Now that I've had it for several weeks I can testify that this model is the way to go if you want to add a lot of class to your home theater system. Consider it a small investment for such a great quality player.

I’ve uograded from the Sonyx800 ( pre Dolby Vision) model. Super impressed with the picture whether its 3d bluray or 4k! 3d on my awol projector and this Panasonic 9000 its awesome! This thing is so well built…feeling confident about its longterm value. If you can get on sale or openbox, definitely recommend!!

Noticeable picture and sound quality difference VS Xbox Series X and PS5. Glad I finally bought one after years of contemplating.

My previous Sony 4k player can not compete with this Panasonic device. It was quick and easy to set up this quality built machine. It may cost more but its visual appeal, heavy duty construction, and its ability to reveal hidden images in a 4k movie (that were never seen before) are remarkable! It responds quickly to all commands from its remote control, and let us not forget that the remote control lights up in the dark.

So far… picture and audio very impressed and. A lot of settings hdr optimize makes picture even better brightness. Audio out/sound settings makes my surround even better. Best 4k blu ray I seen all around nd this player built really good $300 overpriced should be around 600-700

Probably the best purchase I've made at Best Buy. Quality of this 4KUHD blu-ray player screams refernce quality, built like a tank and outweighs other components in my home theater system. Easy setup, connects using HDMI and ethernet. Update firmware, configure pucture settings -simple, not difficult. Plays all blu-rays and 4KUHD disks quietly, but i wouldn't recommed playing lower quality disks nor streaming movies. (use your smart TV instead). I've read disks should be cleaned thoroughly before inserting, due to Panys are known to be quite sensitive compared to other brands. I had a problem during playback of The Force Awakens - skipped and pixelated. Checked disk, it was clean, same problem during playback. Found out firmware had to be updated. No problems afterwards. Overall, very pleased with this product. Future proof, built to last, internal components best in class. Highly recommended

So far, everything is looking and sounding great on this top of the line UHD player. The menus were easy and straightforward, and picture and sound are as great as expected. Its build is quite solid, operation quiet; love the backlit remote control and rare front display. Pricey even on sale, but hoping it will last a very long time. Value is 4.5, but there was no option for half stars. No hesitation in recommending this.

My DVDs came to life with this machine, it is incredible, tremendous sound and its construction is solid

Amazing solid build quality, excellent audio quality, and the best picture I’ve seen from any 4k blu ray player. The HCX processor which optimizes HDR no matter what type of brightness level your 4K display has is the real deal!

Great picture and audio quality. Dethrones my old reference blu-ray player easily. I really didn't expect this to be so apparent, but both the audio and video quality were way better. The remote and the screen interface on the machine are kind of average, but the overall performance makes up for these short comings.

This is an exceptional player in both build quality and performance. It replaced my 3 year old LG UBK90. The UB9000 revived my love for physical media. A noticeable upgrade over 4K streaming content. The video and sound quality are second to none with my LG OLED and Pioneer Elite A/V receiver. Definitely expensive but worth it if you are a videophile and/or audiophile.

Dont look at the price and say no , You definitely get what you pay for . I have no regrets on purchasing this 4K Blu-ray. Only suggestion id make is getting a high end 4K OLED or 8K QLED if you want to get the most out of your Blu-ray with HDR10+ Atmos Dolby . This will not disappoint anyone that comes to your home for movie night .

These are becoming so hard to find, if you see it in stock, grab it. Definitely the best blu ray player you can buy and it is noticeable. If you don't see a difference between this and your previous player, it is time for a new TV to go with it. True, expensive, but how much do you love movies? I can say it was worth it. Sound and picture quality are exceptional. It has a lot of customizable features and tech to perfect your system. I am very pleased and still do watch blu ray. That part though is a sore subject, given that we may not see players this nice being made in the future due to the market. SInce an HDMI 2.1 player does not exist, this is the very best one you are going to find. Dedicated audio and video hdmi outs ensure that you get better quality than hdmi 2.1 would deliver if your system can accommodate. Superb build quality. It is going to last a while.

Excellent 4K Blu Ray Player. Easy set up. Excellent video and audio. Kind of expensive but worth it if you want the best.

The UB-9000 is fantastic, the picture is outstanding and the THX sound is amazing, the player operates smoothly and the auto format disc reader is a plus. I have enjoyed watching standard, Blu-ray and 4K DVD’s. I am content with player.
