Panasonic's HDR Optimizer feature sets their 4K players head and shoulders above the rest, IMO. I recently owned an OPPO 103D with Darbee enhancement, and this player's video quality is better. Regular blurays look outstanding!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Love it. From build quality to picture quality to sound quality, everything is top notch. The only down side is it won’t play SACD and DVD audio, may not be a problem for most, but definitely will cause problem for some. For me it is enough and I highly recommend it

Awesome player great picture and sound was buying digital copies but the sound wasn’t that loud so I decided to go back to hard copies wow what a difference

I upgraded from the DP-UB820-K, and It was definitely worth the price! Love the solid construction, and my 4K discs don't freeze up.

There is no blu-ray player better than this one! Hands Down. It is reference quality all the way around. I am an audiophile and videophile and know quality. This baby is good for years. Love it!!!

Awesome Blu-ray player! I’m a bit of an audio/videophile having previously owned several Oppo units. The video quality is incredible on this unit!! Audio quality is pretty darn good too via the analog outputs as is the transport for feeding an external DAC. The only downsides are that it’s slow to start up and the apps available through the Panasonic store are very limited and don’t appear to be kept up to date. That works well for helping to sell competitors streaming sticks :)

I replaced my original LG 4k player bought in 2017 with this. It truly is night and day. Even with cds, they sound so detailed that you can hear imperfections in the recording. Of course the video is amazing as well.

Build quality is excellent. 4K HDR optimizer is one of the main selling points for me. It made a noticeable difference watching movies on my OLED TV.

This is the best player we have in our home. It is definitely better than Sony. The product looks beautiful and the video pictures are fantastic. Unfortunately, it has limited streaming capabilities, only Netflix!

Great Blu-ray player I ever had before. It’s pricey but worth it. Special if you have surround sound speakers with receiver, it’s feel like you’re watching in the movie theater. It’s built like tank. Love it…

Incredible player for 4K movies! I watched Spiderman No Way Home on this beast and could tell the difference from using my Xbox Series or PS5. Definitely would recommend. Pricey but worth it!

On my second player. The Good: Probably the best 4K UHD player you can currently buy. Oppo being no longer in the market. It appears to have slightly better video processing then the last great Oppo. Like the ability to set the device type. In my case OLED. Sound quality is excellent. The Bad: Both players I tried had a tendency to crash while streaming videos on Youtube. I am keeping the second player as the Disc playback is perfect. I won't use it to stream. Apps are limited so this is not a large issue for me.

Great picture and sound. Full of features and network streaming capabilities
