The Good: Probably the best 4K UHD player you can currently buy. Oppo being no longer in the market. It appears to have slightly better video processing then the last great Oppo. Like the ability to set the device type. In my case OLED. Sound quality is excellent. The Bad: Both players I tried had a tendency to crash while streaming videos on Youtube. I am keeping the second player as the Disc playback is perfect. I won't use it to stream. Apps are limited so this is not a large issue for me.

Panasonic 4K Bluray Player

I watched Spiderman No Way Home on this beast and could tell the difference from using my Xbox Series or PS5. Definitely would recommend. Pricey but worth it!

Quality but NO Hulu

All the other comparable brands were much cheaper but made of cheap plastic. This is a well built product. It's quite too. It plays every type of optical disk and digital streaming format that I can think of. There is 1 major problem that cost this review 1 star. It does not support Hulu. The interface is much better than my new 4K tv but without Hulu I still have to use the tv menu. The back lit remote is excellent.

I have owned several different blu-ray players and this is hands down the best player I have ever owned. It's pricey, but well worth the extra cost over a run-of-the-mill player. Do your research and definitely download the online manual, lots of extra, helpful information in the online version of the manual over the quick set up guide included with the unit.

The ONLY 4K player you should buy

If you’re a truly movie fanatic, you will be very disappointed with anything else. I paired this with an LG Cinebeam HU85LA projector, Elite screens UST CLR 120” screen, and full set of Klipsch titanium 7.1 surround sound speakers. This thing upscales regular blue rays into 4K movies and does a better job than buying 4K movies for $25 (we learned the hard way - $$$). It does a fantastic job. Very happy I splurged.
