Great 42" quality plasma and a good value. Because this is a very basic model it may lack a feature that is important to you. For example I discovered that it only has digital audio output and therefore my old stereo can't be directly connected to it, there are ways to work around this or I could get a new stereo.

Bought this for the gameroom for kids to play xbox. The picture quality is excellent. Not much glare for a plasma

Good quality tv, great price. We use a Bose Solo for sound so this is why I didn't rate the sound quality.

I purchased the Panasonic VIERA 42" on a recommendation from the sales person at Best Buy. The screen quality does not show the same as an LCD/LED flat screen but is still clear and visible from odd angles in a large room. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the great price.

Old TV died while was watching... Can only get less than 30" tall TV due to space. This 42" TV recommend by the sales clerk fit the bill. My son assembled it in 5 minutes. Nice pictures. I only watch news and a little programs. I am very pleased so far.

I setup this tv for my parents, who were just looking to replace their old set. They were not looking for anything fancy and did not want to be confused with too many features. They also wanted a picture that was going to be great quality for watching sports. This seems to do the trick!

Excellent high definition plasma tv. Much better than LCD and LED models. Great video quality and easy to set up and customize to one's personal preferences.

This TV has a great picture and good sound quality. Since it's a plasma, it is best viewed in a room not lit up with too much sunlight. My thoughts, the bigger the TV, the better you can see the plays!

This Tv allows you to catch the big game or watch you favorite talent show finals and feel like you have a front row seat. The picture is fantastic and the sound is like a live concert!!!! You can not go wrong with the great television

We are extremely happy with this TV. We wanted a bigger TV, but this fits in our cabinet just perfectly. We have other HD TV in the house, but this is the best picture of them all!

I bought this as a Christmas raffle item and everyone wanted to win this but only one could. She is still bragging today about this tv. I visited her home and agree the picture is aweome!

This tv was a great purchase for the price and size I wanted. We don't have extra speakers and it still is able to be heard. It would have better sound with additional speakers though.

I bought this tv because I own a 65" Viera and love it! This 42" fit the space in an entertainment center and works perfect for the size of the room.
