this is a great tv. easy to hook up.easy to use. even little kids can figure it out.

This is my third Panasonic TV. All work very well. Great picture in a dark room.

I got the tv for a discounted price because someone had returned it. It was not my first choice but the price was right.

I have an older model of this TV, that I've had for a few years now. I cant say enough good things about Panasonic's plasma TV's. Many will argue they are the best plasmas on the market, and still nothing can compare to the black levels you get from a plasma. The picture quality is great, contrast is excellent, colors are accurate, and best of all - no backlight issues that almost all LED TV's have. The only downsides are weight/glare (plasmas have glass screens, so they tend to be heavy and produce more glare in sunlit rooms), and of course the TV speakers aren't the greatest.

We bought this as a filler until we purchase our big screen. This will then be a bedroom tv so we were just looking for nice enough. What a wonderful surprise. We like everything about it. Beautiful picture, easy hook up and easy set up. It has big, booming sound quality, even in a big room. A lot of tv for $399. So far, we are very happy we bought this. Since we have only had this for two weeks, if we run into any problems I will update this review.

I currently own a 50" Panasonic Plasma 1080P and was looking for a new tv for the bedroom. I saw this 40" 720 at the store and knew it was a quality product at a price point I could afford. I have had years of Quality experiences with Panasonic equipment and would not hesitate to purchase another.

Perhaps I'm old school, but the picture on the new LED and LCD tvs are so manufactured that they don't even look natural to me, so I prefer plasma tvs. This Panasonic has incredible picture quality- the images are very clean and crisp and the colors are natural- I love it!

I returned a lcd tv and got this one. Color is fantastic, easy set up. Far out does the Samsung I returned. It does give off a glare in sunlight. Perfect choice for darker room.

Love this TV! Easy set-up, quality construction and beautiful picture. Excellent value - I highly reccomend it. I wasn't sure I wanted a plasma, but after seeing the picture, there was no doubt - thank you Lord!

This was my first attempt at buying a Plasma TV and I am not happy at all. No matter how hard I tried, I could not adjust the picture settings to a satifactory viewing experience. It always seemed dark and washed out. I tried every possible adjustment and nothing made it better. The best comparison is when you are looking at a laptop screen at a bad angle - bad contrast, dim, unclear, and washed out. This set is going back today. I am exchanging for 39" LED.
