Great TV. Started with a 55 inch LED, then returned a few days later and purchased this 50 inch plasma. Avid sports watcher and the picture is 10 times better. Refresh rate and true colors are amazing. Have owned Samsung plasma in past, this blows it out of the water.

This television was recommended on CNET as being a great television for the price range. Panasonic has never let me down and I was more than confident about purchasing this television. It was extremely easy to set up and the picture quality is incredible. It is mounted in our master bedroom and looks like a painting on the wall. We were encouraged to buy a sound bar to increase the sound quality but we declined and am not sorry. The sound from the television speakers are more than sufficient especially for a bedroom television. Would recommend to everyone as a great purchase and well worth the money!

I'm very impressed with this TV for the price. I actually bought two of them. I have several other flat panel TVs including plasma and LED. The black levels are very good in this set. Especially compared to the budget versions of previous year models. For the price you really cannot beat this TV. Only thing to note is that the screen is very reflective. It is fine with overhead lighting (I have can lighting in the game room that I put one of these in and there is no issue there). I have the other TV in a bedroom on the wall and the bedside lamps need to be off to watch TV or there is a bad reflection.

This plasma has a fantastic picture for the price! And I am a stickler for picture quality. I had purchased a Samsung LED 1080p Smart Tv and was seriously underwhelmed by the black levels and vibrance of color. I returned that set and got this Panasonic. Best. Swap. Ever. Not only did I have extra money because this set cost less, but it has a vastly superior picture and was a bigger screen size too. The only downgrade was that this Panasonic didn't have Pandora, but I can live with that as my Blu Ray player has that feature. A great entry level tv!

No complaints yet with this tv. sound is a little faint but we use the surround sound anyways. Awesome picture, simple setup, great features. Can not go wrong with this tv if your looking for a plasma

So far I am very pleased with the quality of this tv .It has a great look to it as well as the picture quality.It is easy to use and pleasurable to watch .Watching it is a very nice visual experience.

The overall picture and sound far exceeded the other brands. This tv is very easy to understand and use. The cost of yearly use compared to a LED set wast less than $20/year, so even that was a good trade off for what you get with this great picture.

I first bought a LED set because the picture was so bright and clear in the store. Once it was setup at home I never could get the picture to look good. Our old 40" Dynex looked much better. I adjusted and tweeked and adjusted some more for over a week til finally I took it back and bought the Panasonic PLASMA. They do not present well in the store, none of the Plasmas do compared to the bright, bluish picture of the LEDs, but don't be mislead. Once setup I made a few adjustments, connected it to the internet serves and have been happy ever since. The Panasonic has a great picture with a lot of features. If you are interested in great color and picture quality then this is a good choice. I would do it again. Also bought a ROKU, what a cool device. If you want a realistic, dramatic picture go PLASMA. BestBuy was great with the exchange.

This TV has great color warmth and contrast. Great for movies and especially sports. We have this downstairs for the kids. I enjoy viewing this picture better than the 60" Samsung plasma in our upstairs living room, and that's a real nice TV as well. Something about the Panasonic's plasma technology that is a superior IMO. The warm color rendition, deep blacks, and contrast create a warm, pleasurable viewing experience not hard on the eyes. The Best Buy salesman said that Panasonic is going to stop manufacturing their plasma models. Might want to get one while they're available. This was on sale for under $600. Con: The remote "menu" button is tightly spaced with the internet button, so I kept launching the apps by mistake trying to adjust picture settings.

I am blown away by the picture quality and clarity of this plasma. The smart features are very nice, and easy to setup and use. I never knew what I was missing without a smart tv, and without the smooth motion of plasma. Sports and blu ray movies look visually stunning on this display. The styling of the tv is elegant and attractive. Can't think of any other tv I would have rather watched the louisville cardinals national championship win on.

I am so happy I got the Panasonic Plasma before they were all gone. Last one in the store, it was meant to be. Easy to hook up and access internet, cable. Great color, easy to use menu and great blacks. Love it.

I also bought the larger version. I got a great deal and love them both. I don't really feel that LCD is great so I went with Plasma. works best in a darker room because there is some glare so keep that in mind

For the price point of around 700, this TV had the sharp video and great refresh rate one expects from a plasma, without the screen tearing effect in comparably priced budget led TVs. The smart TV platform is nice, and means you won't need to hook a computer to it to watch things like Hulu online. I wish they offered more online services in the platform (say, hbo to go for example) however it is still a great convenience and allows me to use my smartphone add a remote and to queue up YouTube videos and such. One issue is that the power saving mode is continuously measuring the ambient light in the room and will periodically darken and brighten up to compensate, which gets a little distracting, but the function can be turned off.

Great all around tv; plasma is the way to go for sports and action movies. Good value price wise. very easy to set up install. Some of the menus have changed such as scrolling bar but still there.

My new tv is great. easy to install. great picture and sound quality. I would recommend it to anyone. Love it.

I first bought an LED tv to get it home and set up and it didn't work. So I took the lED back and was there for almost 2 hours trying to pick out another tv and I was just about to buy another LED that was $200 dollars more than I had already spent when I came across this tv. Not only was it $100 cheaper than what I already spent but it is a much better quality. So glad I purchased this tv.

I love to read reviews before I purchase anything so I thought I would give one. Overall this is a nice tv with all the bells and whistle. Sound quality is great and connects to your everyday Internet life at a great price.. picture quality is nice. plus its a plasma if you have any kids they wont be able to crack the screen so easily as mines did my insignia def. an upgrade from that tv.if your thinking of purchasing this tv you will wont have any regrets.

I purchased the tv a little over a month ago and so far it is amazing. The picture quality is fantastic and seems to be as good as the more expensive Panasonic plasmas. Sound quality is good as well as the internet features. It doesnt give you the full Panasonic suite for internet but gives you several apps you can use. Overall I am extremely pleased with this tv. Works great with gaming, blue ray, or regular hd cable.

I was very patient about researching and buying my first 50" Flat screen (Plasma) television. I can't say it lived up to all the hoopla and anticipation. The picture is clearer, but you have to pay extra for High Definition channels and High Definition cables (they just left out a few important details). Once you purchase all that, the picture is good, but still doesn't live up to the hoopla, the picture is pretty nice. Although I still haven't figured out how to play Netflix videos through my home theater system. Also, although you can stream movies through Netflix, they're all older titles, so it's not much of a benefit. I can't charge that against Panasonic. Overall, it was a good purchase, I just wish the unknowns were marketed better.

Love this TV did not think thr picture would be so true. As far as a Plasma emitting eat. This TV emits very little heat from it. For the price this is a best buy.
