Fabulous picture, crisp and clear . At times it looks like you're right there live as if watching a play. Sound could be slightly better , although we do not have a sound bar or anything hooked up to it yet. We are used to sony products and I must admit this is just as good of a picture , let's see how long it lasts' our sony is over 10 yrs old . As of this moment, we live this tv and highly recommend it. The smart functions are awesome.

Beautiful picture! I did a lot of research and comparison shopping. I viewed this TV next to many others and for the price, none of the LCD panels could touch the picture quality. Unless you want to spend a lot more money on a high end 4K set, you will not get a better picture. Sound quality is surprisingly good as well. It is too bad that Panasonic is not continuing production of these quality TVs.

So glad I made this purchase now that Panasonic has made the regrettable decision to stop Plasma production. I can't believe the incredible picture on this set it is so close to that of the "ZT" I can't tell the difference. No need to wait for oled get one of these before there gone you'll be sorry if you miss out it's that good.

This TV has amazing picture quality and way more features than I will ever have time to use...no downside at all in my experience so far...a good price from BB so no complaints there. Expensive maybe but well worth the money...even looks good when its turned off

I love the tv. I set it up myself until the guys came a few days later to put it on the wall. They reprogrammed the picture and sound and from that point we have been very happy with our entertainment purchase, especially when watching 3D blue ray movies. I definitely recommend this tv to anyone in the market.

Great plasma, one of the best buys I ever did, The blacks are very deep black. Great pioneer technology. Easy to set up for people that are not technologically savvy. I recommend it to anyone, a gamer,casual viewer or a movie enthusiast.

I owned a 50" ST and was blown away by the realism of the picture. I ordered the 55" VT to get the same quality plasma picture and the additional features such as the camera. The picture quality is just as good but the speakers do not project at low volume numbers as well as the ST model.

I have an older 50" Model that I moved downstairs. I bought this 55" Model for upstairs. The Panasonic Viera has, by far, the best picture of any TV! It is highly rated and easy to operate. I highly recommend this Model!

This TV is easy to setup, has a lot of USB ports for charging the 3D glasses or connecting other devices. The picture is fabulous, with lots of options for dark or bright rooms. Love that Netflix is right on the remote.

Out of the box, this TV had deep vibrant colors and inky blacks. Plenty of HDMI inputs to connect to my HD DVR, and Blu-ray player. The built in camera makes it extremely easy to Skype with our daughter who lives in VA. The VT series was definitely worth the extra dollars.

I had a high end led tv and it broke after a year and half. It was also a very bright picture. This TV gives you a rich dark picture that shows a lot more detail than the bright leds. I am very happy with my purchase and the price. The help I had a BB was also amazing.

Wow, great picture, I immediately noticed the difference from my older 60" Sony rear-pro LCD (old! but nice picture). I love the screen protector- glass, but you need to wipe it down or you might think you have a "burn mark"....Great colors, ok sound, buy a sound bar. I rate it a 4.5

Owned the TV for a few months now... Love the picture quality. Getting used to plasma vs. lcd, just a different "look" Trying to work out speech delay. Have been very pleased so far.

Overall, best tv I've ever owned. And probably will own until I go OLED or 4K. Highly recommend if you can find one. I know I got the last one from my best buy. And Panasonic is don't making one. If you see one used somewhere get it

We replaced a 40" Sony LCD with this 55" Panasonic plasma. The LCD is so much brighter and sharper, but the plasma is much more movie theater-like, and the action scenes are fluid with no pixilation. (We have the TV in a theater room.) It is a great TV. My wife thinks it is too big, so it would be nice if the picture size were scalable (like the Samsung 8000 LCD). Purchased at a good price at Best Buy and then they matched a lower price a week later.

I love this tv, outstanding picture!!!!!!! I first bought a samsung 7100 series LED and was very disappointed . I returned it and bought this panasonic plasma , cost a little more but the picture quality is well worth it.

Excellent TV, best plasma on the market for videophiles. Decent sound quality, but you'll hook it up to a receiver anyways. Awesome black levels. TV is expensive, if you can find it.

I'm not sure how the picture could be any better. The colors and blacks are phenomenal. I am continuously amazed by the image quality.

This TV has a superb picture out of the box and even better once calibrated. Not planning on using the 3D so can't comment. Plenty of app features for people without media devices.

This is a beautiful TV on or off. Easy to use remotes including the touch remote.Standard and THX 3D setings are perfect.
