Looks amazing in my kitchens, but...doesn't clearly burn Star Wars logo as advertised and sometimes bread gets stuck

    Looks great- toasts bad

It's sure does look great, but it doesn't toast very well. The Star Wars logo is barely visible on one side while the other side is burned black. Also the side with the logo only toasts on the logo. The rest of the side around the logo is not really toasted at all. But I sure does look great... happy I kept the old toaster.

Returned this toaster since the toast either came out light or burnt.

    Horrible toaster

I bought this toaster for my love of Darth Vader. When I got it home I immediately plugged it in to make toast. When it came out of the toaster the words "Star Wars" were barely legible and the back side of the toast was COMPLETELY black. I thought maybe I had the darkness setting up too high. So I lowered it again and again with each failed piece of toast. After about 8-10 slices of bread all on different settings, including the absolute lowest setting, I gave up. Every piece came out burnt and unreadable. Also, every other time I pushed the toast down into the toaster, a green/blue spark would come from within. 30 dollars worth of junk. Didn't even want to try and exchange it, just wanted my money back.

    Toy, not Toaster

It is too short to put adult size breads in, and it "brands" the bread with a logo instead of evenly toasting. Might be good for toaster waffles.

    Barely toasts at highest setting

The price was right so i took a chance. It is fun to look at but it barely makes toast on the first try now. The toaster worked fine for about three weeks. I cleaned out the crumb tray at three weeks and now it takes three tries to get decent toast. I use it on the highest setting as it makes no difference what setting the toaster is on now.

More of a show piece than a functional product. It works just not that well.

I bought this because my kids love star wars. The side that burns "Star Wars" on to the toast stopped working 2 weeks later. I didn't expect it to last long but 2 weeks is ridiculous. Will make for a cool night stand Darth Vader head once I rip out the guts.

Toaster setting has to be turned all the way up to "imprint" Star Wars on toast. Not good for toasting pop tarts or waffles... Bread only. Anything else falls through or gets stuck.

Loved the idea as star wars fan but this item does not function well. Only toasted on one side and not very well. Used it twice but now sits on a shelf.

    Great Collector Item, OK Toaster

Bought as a gift for the family after seeing the new Star Wars film. It is a great collector piece and looks really cool. It is kind of expensive for the quality of it - it feels like a cheap $10 toaster. Also, as others have said, the words are not very legible toasted onto the bread. Would not recommend as a main toaster for everyday use, but a great collectable, and cool surprise when guests see Star Wars on their bread.

Not good if you have heavier bread. If you have lighter bread then it does it so-so. Doesn't taste the same as the toast made with the older toasters. It is just different way of toasting I suppose. I have it set to the middle setting. One side would come out toasted , while the other side comes out soggy or not not at all with the star wars etched into the toast.

I Love the Dark Side (of my toast)

First of all, I didn't buy this because it makes great toast. I bought it for the novelty of it. The Star Wars logo that's burned into each slice of bread is awesome! I found out, however, that I enjoy using it as my main toaster. It makes great toast after all!

This toaster was purchased for me as a father's day gift. I was blown away by the looks of this thing. Functionally, it's better than most toasters, just don't expect the Star Wars Logo to appear on your toast.

I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law. It looks so cool, better than I expected. I love the fact that it toasts Star Wars on to the bread. Now I just need a storm trooper butter dish.
