Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the fun and engaging gameplay, finding it a good mix of traditional elements and challenging aspects. The game's ease of use is also praised, with many noting its accessibility for short play sessions. However, some customers felt the story lacked originality and depth compared to previous installments. The price point was frequently cited as a positive aspect, particularly when purchased on sale.

Pretty good, but I must admit it lost my interest early on. Then after trying it again it really became an enjoyable game, so stick with it if you lose interest. You will be happy you did.

Great addition to the Paper Mario series

This is a great addition to the Paper Mario series. However, I miss the RPG elements such as leveling up and having a varied cast of characters in my party. The game has great replay value and collectibles that will keep you occupied for many hours; however, the game does feel a bit dragged on toward the end due to excessive backtracking...

It's a fun game with timing and turn-based combat. It is a little difficult sometimes when the game doesn't give you good clues or hints where to go next.

It's Paper Mario for the 3DS and it was on sale for 1/2 price so I got it for $20. Great game, but Best Buy doesn't do a great job of advertising these type sales. They often last for less than a week or get sold out quick. I also got Sly Cooper for PS3 w/ Vita download code on sale like this for $30 at one point. Just watch the gaming sites/blogs for you system and you will catch these deals. Also a big fan of Reward Zone Gamer club. For $15 a year you get a decent magazine and every month you get great coupons...Already paid for itself.

I was impress with the subtle detail to the game and the way to maintain that classic appeal of the Paper Mario franchise.

Another fun entry in the Paper Mario series. New battle system was surprising but still very enjoyable. Definitely a must buy. Looking forward to future entries in the series.

Sometimes Nintendo goes into autopilot. They're so good a making games though, that's not always a bad thing. PM:ST is Nintendo getting it just right. It's an RPG, don't expect a traditional Mario game, but it's not the best Mario RPG, just a good one. Recommended if you like the franchise.

This game turned out to be pretty good. I've been playing the paper mario games since the first one on N64. The addition of stickers was a neat little twist. I even thought that the whole sticker aspect was going to be really stupid, but the way they did it makes a lot of sense. If you own a 3DS, I'd say this is one of the must have games for it.

This is a great game for adults and teenagers. The difficulty can be high so I would not recommend it to younger children.

This game is more of a story, than a game, and in the way it's presented, I like how it has a mixture of rpg, light hearted story and action.

This game was fun, but not quite as much as the older games. I got a lot more engrossed in thousand year door because the story had so much more to it. Thats what I expect from an rpg. Otherwise still a very fun game that is well worth the play.

Yes, it is Mario again, but as you know the Mario Bros franchise never fails to impress. This is a good game for the younger generation.

Overall the game is fun to pick up and play. If you don't take it too serious, it can be fun. Playing it for too long at a time, you will definitely get bored from how repetitive it is. Still worth a shot if you can pick it up cheap.

The game is real fun. The opening starts off slow and explains the game. Then they set you loose. If you have a guide, or gamefaqs, then this game is amazing. Without one, you could find yourself getting lost frequently

When I play RPGs, I almost never use items. I get a kind of anxiety, as I only have a finite supply, and I might need them later. This is an RPG where the entire battle system is centered on using items, and it's probably therapeutic, but it's really unnerving. After a while, you realize that every battle you fight doesn't give you experience, all it does is waste your battle items, and you want to avoid playing any aspect of the game. Then, ultimately, the game itself. But it is charming, a better experience than a game.

Great entry into the Paper Mario franchise. Easy to play in short intervals if you are travelling. Utilizes the 3D very well. Adds nice turn based battle elements to a platformer.

This game was bought after the wii game which was a lot of fun so I was expecting the same game, but it is somewhat different from the wii version, but still very fun.
