Top notch anime with Sci-fi/Horror

What I really love about this anime, that's it's something new to anime story telling. Amazing art work brings the characters and intense fight scenes. A young boy by the name of Shinichi. Is attack by a unknown creature, that tries to enter the young man's head. It fails in doing so and ends up entering his arm. Now forced to live as one being. Other people are not so lucky.
