This drone has great functions and features. Easy to fly. But really not responsive to your controlling of the drone when the drone is a few feet away from your iphone/ipad. I got it for $50 which is a great price for this drone but I will return since the range is not really enjoyable with a big drone like that.

This is an amazing little quad for the price. The controls are intuitive, you get a live video feed with almost no lag, and you can adjust parameters like speed and max vertical height to limit things while you are still getting used to it... or while indoors and you don't want it to move around too fast. It's also pretty sturdy. I've had a few nasty crashes and it's no worse for the wear. The camera is not the greatest in the world, but they had to keep the price down somehow. It still takes some halfway decent shots, but professional photography is not the point of this camera. The point is being a solid, easy-to-use quad that doesn't break the bank. Highly recommended!

I first tried it indoors and it wouldn't hover level. It would keep going backward even after repeated flat trim resets. I pressed the hard reset button and was able to get it to hover pretty well. I put it up for the night because I didn't want to crash it indoors in a confined place. The next day I took it outside. It was flying backward again so I performed a flat trim a few times and it finally hovered pretty well. I toyed around with the default settings and absolute control. I finally found I liked absolute control. I moved the max height from 3m to 9m and moved it a little higher. It was doing fine till I released the joystick. Instead of hovering; it took off into a neighbor's yard and crashed into a tree about 15-20 ft up. I was able to use the recovery button to get it to fall but it broke two propellers and the central cross. It will cost almost as much to fix as the unit originally cost and after only one real flight.

We could not get this drone to do more than fly about 6 feet off of the ground and then error out. Waited for a claim day, got no response.

I got this for Christmas, charged it up and took it outside. First thing it said is Angel Emergency, I finally got it to fly by taking off the HULL, then it would not stabilize. I reset it, recharged it, try flying it again, now returning it. JUNK

I've been playing with smaller/cheaper drones for a year before I "upgraded" to this one. I have been extremely disappointed with this purchase. The drone is very fragile. I haven't crashed it into anything and I already have a broken arm. The drone doesn't stabilize well at all. Every now and then, when you press on take off, the drone just flies into a random direction and you can't do anything but land it to stop it. Very disappointed. If I could return it, I would have.
