This drone is fun to play with but it's definitely not for a little kid and it's not quite as easy as they make it seem online

use your ipad or phone as the controller. live video streaming and recording from the drone's HD camera. very cool.

Got this as my son's first drone. Pretty easy to fly, good for beginners.

This is an awesome drone for beginners that are wanting to test out the market. It is easy to pair with an iPhone through the app and also super easy to fly. I think the only downside is that is it only compatible with Apple devices.

Picked this up after Christmas at a great price. Fun but has its limits.

The camera works good and the drone is very sturdy so it doesn't fall apart when it crashes. The biggest issue the battery life is only 14 minutes and then you have to wait while the batter recharges. Also it runs through an app on your phone which has it's limitations when you are out of wifi range.

This works... It took me a little to get used to the controls (not realizing the joysticks on the screen for the app only apply if you turn off a function), but rather tilting the pad and using the right joystick on the screen give you normal function. This is also no longer supported by the code library that I could find (used to be able to download an API).

Since it's Winter, I have only had a few test flights, to see if all the blades spin and if it lifted off the ground. On one of the test flights, I tried to take it above 10' , but I was unsuccessful. Maybe I have to read the instruction book to find out how to get it high in the sky. It was super fun to fly. I can't wait till the Spring! Drones Rule! :D

Great quad copter that is easy to control for beginners, the absolute control option makes it easy to fly. The camera quality is ok for its price but is pretty grainy. Wifi will limit your range considerably, sometimes I lose control at 25 feet. Converting to mirumod with claimed range of up to 1,500 feet.

It's fun, easy to fly, and thanks to the auto level I don't have to worry as much about it crashing

Very fun drone to fly. It's great for Northern Indiana because you can fly it indoors or outdoors.

Bought this for my Dad. He just loves gadgets. He was super excited and can't wait to try it.

If you’re looking for something for your kids to start their drone collection or just wanting experience to begin as an adult this is a great product. I gave a 4-Star rating because for my son it’s good but not very durable. So proper landing is key. Try training over a grassy area if possible. Not impact friendly with hard surfaces.
