I am very happy with the Best Buy service and the drone was one of the best purchases I have made.

Not easy to operate at all. My kid was giving up on this, not worth the price unfortunately.

My daughter charged it, added app to her phone, and it worked for one day. Today, day after Christmas, it won't charge. We tried switching cords out with my sons and it still won't charge

Parrot sets the standards for these fun in home drones. My kid plays with it all the time.

I own many drones including the Parrot A.R Drone 2.0. I love these little flying robots from Parrot, flying them is so much fun. After receiving this Parrot MiniDrones Rolling Spider I was surprised of how small it is without the rolling wheel this mini drone fits in the palm of your hands. This done comes with the wheel detached but it took 5 seconds to assemble it however it may be a little tricky to clip it onto the drone and the manual is not very clear on this process but the videos online was very helpful, my recommendation is to watch the videos online to get familiar with the drone and to learn some tricks. I love the fact that this drone can be charged using a standard micro USB cable, The battery life may only be 8 minutes which is on the short side but after flying it for a while, 8 minutes is enough time to enjoy flying the drone. The drone is controlled using the Free Flight 3 app for both iOS and Android using bluetooth, even with bluetooth I could fly this drone around my house without any issue both indoors and outdoors even the connection stays strong I never lost bluetooth connection between my iPhone and the drone. The included camera on the drone is low resolution but a camera is not usually found on drones this small so this was a nice addition and takes decent enough photos and all you have to do is plug the drone into your computer to retrieve your photos. The best thing about this little drone is the app lets you customize how to control the drone by using your phones tilt function or touchscreen joystick and performing flips and rolling on walls and ceilings. I enjoyed using this drone while rolling on the ground it was so easy to control and performs like a small R/C car.

This little quadcopter is really well made and very durable. I like the freeflight app and use both android and iOS versions. The drone is very stable and hovers, and this gives me a chance to think about the controls, and continue flying with less crashes. It's so easy to fly i don't mind passing the control to anyone watching, because they can instantly understand how to fly it successfully. I like it so much, I bought another to give to a friend so we could fly together, and he likes it a lot too. I would like an extra set of props included. After two weeks I finally crashed hard enough to bend a prop. Luckily I already ordered two spare sets and an extra battery.

As a professional aerial photographer, I bought this drone as a Toy. The wheels protect it from crashes and I liked the idea of an inexpensive drone with a camera and android control. The battery time is OK. The camera quality is below average. The control and speed however are great and is a great way to learn to fly quadcopters. This review was also written to enter me into a contest.

Purchased for my 12 year old son as Xmas gift. It turned out to be his favorite gift. It took him a few tries to get the hang of controlling the drone with his iPhone but after looking up some videos on YouTube he quickly mastered it. It has been pretty durable in the house so far. The only downside is that you can only get about 8 minutes of use after a full charge and the time goes pretty fast!

so much fun I went and bought an AR DRONE. but I find myself flying this just as much if not more.. Inside it zips around and so easy to fly..

This product is a good place to star using quadcopters, unfortunetly the software still has a lot of bugs that needs to be fixed (a battery problem seems to be a general issue), the hardware is solid and can handle a normal use, best if use outside since wall hits (without the wheels) could affect propels.

I got this last year in my birthday and the secend day i had it the wheel part in the middle of the wheels snaped in half and a full charged battery dies in one trick and the the two back wings fell of after hitting the wall i had to buy muilti batterys and it takes like all day to charge and like a hour to take the battery out and in

For $99, it could be argued that this is a great starter drone. At first, I was impressed on how well it connected to my iPhone out of the box. The main problem with this drone is regarding it's battery life. It was the main reason I returned it back to best buy. It will fly for a few minutes, but that is without moving it. Every time it moves, the batter drains very fast. At least on the app, the drone communicates the battery life to you. The reason you will not want this product because you will get bored with it in how many times you have to charge it. Look for something that will last a little longer. Even at first, it works great.... but I foresaw that this would sit on my shelf after a month. Imagine your laptop works for 15 minutes and you have to charge for two hours just to use it again. It's somewhat the same concept. I gave the product an extra star in that it communicated with my iPhone once the app was installed in a very easy manner.

It's a great first time flying rc device. I got the rolling spider for Christmas and have loved it.

I bought this as an inexpensive starter drone for my big kid husband for Xmas. I was pleased with the products ease of use, durability, and phone app. Definitely is fun zipping around & puzzling the dog. Big negative is the battery life: hours to charge for 8 minutes flying time. I warned about flying outside but he decided after "mastering" the controls to try it...Up,up & away bye, bye $100. Amused neighbors. A major flaw indeed. Beware.

When I got the parrot rolling spider it was easy to pilot on ground and in the air. The battery is easy to insert and take out and the wheels are easy to put on and remove too.

Do not buy. After 3 days of charging, only charged to 60% then battery dies after 5 sec of use. After reading reviews online this seems like a common problem with this drone. We returned after 2 days.

I had posted my review earlier on Best Buy about loosing my first parrot mini drone because it did not respond to the app controls - emergency stop or flight controls and disappeared out of range. I reached out to Parrot support asking for a refund but they only agreed to send a replacement. Even with the replacement drone I noticed some erratic response to the app while flying indoors. I took a chance and tried to fly the drone outdoors and I lost the replacement again because of the drone vertical control defect. I have had very bad experience and twice lost this product outdoors.

The spider drone is a fun machine. However, Caution needs to given to all potential buyers. The drone has a major defect that has not been reported by the company. In certain flight programs, the drone will suddenly take off vertically and continue to fly out of sight of the user. This issue happened to me last week and after a lot of research, its an issue that has occurred in the past. When flying the drone, do not use it outside.
