Bought for son. Has great range/ only down side is its size for storage.

Battery does not last too long. But I guess if you want to fly longer you would get a more expensive drone.

My son read reviews and picked this as his 2nd big drone. It flies amazingly well. He started flying with it immediately and had it hovering and then flying forward. The wings are a type of styrofoam so be careful hitting things. It has crashed landed on concrete and been ok. It flies around like a bat also.

Most drones are very short term. This one is no different approx 10 minutes of flight time. Harder to control than the more rigged type but this is a light flyer and the camera isn't so bad either.

I purchased this drone after hours of research and reading reviews. This drone exceeded my expectations and then some. It has phenomenal control response and has many features most comparable drones do not have. Well worth the purchase for a hobbyist and drone connoisseur. Loads of fun!

Great concept and a lot of fun to fly but too fragile. Returned to get bebop 2 which is not a fair comparison. Would buy again if new model were more sturdy.

Unique design and a bit of a learning curve. Not as intuitive as other units. Great deal with Flypad.

Got this for my son in law and he hasn't put it down. The aireal pictures are great. What a cool gadget. Everyone should own a drone.

Overall easy to fly, doesn't pair well with your phone for camera use and battery life is horrible

Fun plane, easy to fly but very fragile. Replacement parts are hard to find and not cheap. Have to order motors with wing arms for 20 dollars.

This is my first drone. The price and Flypad being included were tempting, as were recent updates to the smartphone/tablet app. The drone is smaller than it looks in pictures and even videos. The Flypad controller makes it much easier to control, and allows for longer range (up to 60m). It does take a little time to learn how to control the "airplane" flight mode but it is a great deal of fun. Not intended for small rooms (I live in an apartment) but great for outdoors. When I did fly it indoors, it handled "crashes" into walls just fine and seems well built. The smartphone app added new stunts easily accessible by buttons on the phone/tablet or Flypad controller. Extra batteries are available, and I will be picking one up. The only con is the limited flight time of less that 10-minutes.

Got the DJI phantom three standard last week. I'm not a tech guy by any means,horrible with computers, but it was really easy to set up and apply the firmware. Got all my info on YouTube. People posted step by step instructions. Dji's instructions get you about as far as Turing it on. But I ended up loving it so much that I went and upgraded to a DJI Phantom 3 Professional because I wanted to go the distance. Maybe it's because I have a 720p tv but man is the video quality amazing! FYI...on setup of the P3Pro, update firmware to the quad first! Not the RC! happy flying!!
