I really enjoyed the movie- great acting, and refreshingly new plot for a sci-fi space movie. If you’re purchasing for the 3D effects, I would advise that they are not spectacular. Good, but not great. I was hoping for something more eye-popping in the 3D format, but it just didn’t offer any great viewing enhancement.

Great picture with great actors. The movie made you feel like you were there! Very realistic in the distant future. Jennifer, Chris, Laurence and Michael were excellent in their roles. You felt like you knew the characters...why they said and what they did to solve the problems, and there were a lot of problems...

Well written Sci-fi Rom-Com which I don't usually like, but luved the story! And the Spaceship was awesome. That's what I want to travel in.

Anyone that has watched Passengers in the past knows what a cool movie it is to begin with, along with an intriguing story line. Seeing it in 4K just magnifies the excitement that much more - and it is simply beautiful on the screen. You won't be disappointed, so add this title to your "must have" 4K movies now.

I watch a lot of science fiction movies and tv shows and this movie is one of the best I've seen in awhile. A great script that draws the viewer into the story, combined with excellent acting by all. Plausible major plot points and a very satisfying resolution to the main story details.

With all the news and talk of going to Mars and other worlds, this movie answers the "What if you were traveling all alone?" or if you woke up with no one to talk to before losing your sanity. It also answers how a spaceship should be designed to safely travel long distances.

So, I may be in the minority, but I like this movie. It has some original elements along with the struggle of loneliness and dealing with consequences in dragging another into that state of mind. Could have been a touch shorter but IMO it's quite enjoyable if you're a sci-fi fan.

A great love story set in the future. Pratt and Lawrence were great together. I also liked the fact that the movie had a very limited cast (basically just 4 people). If you like science fiction, I'm guessing you'd enjoy this movie. Also, it looks great in 4k!

Passengers gives us straightforward framing of some serious "what would you do?" ethical/moral issues. The technology on display becomes background for this big time drama. When the artificial gravity fails, the physics of a swimming pool in space become quite interesting.

If you love science fiction, if you love space, you will most likely love this movie. It has a lot of moral questions that lay beneath the plot. Production is excellent, scifi element is great, and it is an enjoyable movie even though the cast is small.

Devilish story of isolation and attraction. Chris Pratt and Jenifer Lawrence are great together. The imagery is beautiful and the story is engrossing. If you like people watching you will like the dynamics about love and attraction a la test tube. Only two people, sometimes just one, are the characters for most of the movie. How will they survive and how will being alone change their values? The movie can be a bit slow to be a selection you will want to watch more than a couple times, but it's worth owning if you like science fiction, romance and seeing two beautiful people struggle with their own values/judgements and their need for companionship. It is completed with a perfect surprise ending.

Brilliant movie that deals with space travel and hibernation. There are lots of surprises throughout the movie and has a surprise ending. Very well written and executed with a minimal cast. If you like space travel, action and suspense. This is a must.

I love this movie. This is definitely one of my favorites because it’s got a story that I can relate to especially with the busy lifestyle that always seems to consume us when truly all we need is to look deep on our lives and see how much we take for granted

This is the way studios should release movies. I still love 3D and if it is a choice between buying the 4K release and the 3D release (if both are offered), I buy the 3D version every time. "Passengers," in my opinion, was a fantastic movie. The 4K version really made the colors seem more saturated and lifelike. The 3D version, really made the ship come to life. As stated in another review watching the 3D gave you a real feel of the ship and space occupied inside. "Objects that looked and felt flat in 2D reveal their true shape in 3D; the coffee machine, for example, has a raised panel that stands quite a bit out in front of the icons behind it." I always choose the 3D versions for this reason, you gain all the depth of the "being there" feel. Unfortunately, many manufactures were stuck on selling "Active" 3D equipment where you had to change batteries in your glasses and it was the glasses that would "flicker" giving some people headaches. Passive 3D for home entertainment is the way to go (it's like the "Real 3D" you see at the theaters) where the glasses can be used with ANY Passive 3D tv. Active 3D glasses have to be "synced" to that particular tv. Anyway, I digress. PASSENGERS is a great movie and I highly recommend it. If you have the capability, I would recommend the 3D first, then the 4K UHD. Both are fantastic.

Passengers is a Sci Fi movie, the visual effects are very well done. This is not an action movie, it’s more dialogue between people. There is some action dealing with saving the ship. Overall I’d say it’s better than most sci fi movies.

Was very pleased from start to finish although it started off slow but you must watch cause it gets better! The atmosphere, amazing cinematography, plot will grab you and never let go. A cinematic achievement. Can't wait to watch again!

very different movie . it was very good i really enjoy this movie.

I really love passengers the movie and already had it but really had to see it in 4k with my new Sony 4K TV and Sony DVD 4K player. I was totally amazed on the quality and detailed 4K puts out so I really enjoyed the movie extra specially.

A good movie that did not rate well with experts. I liked the plot and story line. Made u think think about life and interstellar travel . I would recommend. Great in 4K . I with any Garcia had a larger role in the movie .

I both liked and disliked this movie. I had some real problems with it but at the same time me and my wife were talking about it for days. I always say a movie that brings up hours of debate is always a good movie.
