Plot of space voyagers on a long trip with one passenger prematurely awoken from crying and discovers everyone else is still asleep. He awakens another passenger and together they try to survive the long voyage.

Well made movie, with some stunning visual effects... Very good performances from the 3 main characters, played by Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, and Michael Sheen (as the android bartender).

Although there are only 2 humans and a robot as the characters in this movie it holds your attention. Interesting choice of a dilemma. Either die alone or live with someone else to keep you company.

This "Passenger" is a space travel movie. The journey from the Earth to another planet was a combination of romantic drama and science fiction . I enjoy the performance by Jennfer Lawrance and Chris Pratt.

I missed seing this in the movie theater. Good thing it was on sale and i grab it right away. The Bluray disc arrived at my door in great condition. I liked the movie overall. Very entertaining.

Passengers was a pretty big hit in theaters, yet the marketing seemed to divide audiences. Some said it was a science fiction movie, others said it was actually a rom-com wrapped in space. Well which one is it? I would say it's a romantic science fiction movie. Sounds yucky right? Turns out to be pretty engaging and fun, and not totally devoid of food4thought. I won't get into the plot, and I would recommend watching this without any prior spoilers as the plot had a bit of a twist to it that can be ruined by trailers etc. The first act is pretty much straight up science fiction, and it sucked me in. Great visuals and a classic astronaut at the vast frontier story about survival and problem solving - almost like the most excellent The Martian. The 2nd act, without spoiling anything, does become more oriented towards the relationship between two characters, and doesn't shy away from elements of the romance genre. The 3rd act is a little more conventional Hollywood blockbuster - as a crisis needs to be overcome in order to reach a conclusion. While I really liked the first part, there was enough in the remainder of the movie to keep me fully engaged, despite slipping into some typical summer movie conventions. The two leads carry the film, with Chris Pratt doing his best every-man performance as he is featured in almost every single scene/shot of the movie. The directing is surprisingly tight and I have to give extra points for the music - the original score is really excellent, providing the perfect atmosphere and beats that helped the drama unfold. Also, the production values here are high - this movie is nice to look at and listen to. While not a particularly mind-blowing science fiction story, there is enough to elevate this over some of the other mind-numbing fare that Hollywood releases in the summer. Passengers falls comfortably between art and junk - it's somewhat elevated escapism.

This film explores how people need other people to survive not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. When loneliness and desperation take hold, how far will you go to stop it?

The views of the space are astonishing. The story and actors are great

This movie was entertaining & action packed all the way through! Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Pratt are perfect together! Every time you watch it you see different details! Definitely a favorite!

This is such an interesting movie. I buy it for gifts for others from time to time because it has such an interesting story and has great scenes that you won't see anywhere else.

This film is a perfect mixture of sci-fi and romance at its best. The sci-fi will keep most men intrigued and more then enough romance to keep the women wanting to see more great film for all.

This movie received fairly bad reviews, and I'm not sure why. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The stars had good chemistry and the sci fi effects and suspense were quite good.

A sci-fi movie like none other. There aren't aliens just dealing with the nature of space. Pratt carries the first act and Lawrence joins to make the movie complete.

Some people may not like that this movie doesn't have a lot of characters. But the four they have are really good, stuck in space on a ship traveling to they're new home

This is a really great movie there's a lot of neat romantic comedy involved besides the Sci-Fi Great Space movie.... they must have if you're into Sci-Fi movies..

This is a very good movie with a interesting dilemma for the characters. It kept my interest throughout. Putting myself in the male character's place I question what I would do.

Great movie about what the likely events are if this were one of us who were stranded, alone, in space. These two make it a movie worth adding to your collection!

This story is such a good example of what reliance on technology might cause. The human drama that takes place as a result is very interesting. Great movie!

At first, I wasn’t sure how I’d like this movie. Then, the realism set in. Imagine you or I in that situation (not spoiling the movie!!!) I can’t wait to watch it again.

Better than I expected. You really feel for the characters and are with them all the way through the obstacles they face thinking... what would you have done in their place?
