I am trying to figure out why people are bashing this computer so much. I bought this the second day of the sale for $499.99 which in my opinion is a very good deal considering what you are getting. I am replacing a 2010 6000 series HP Pavilion, that is over 6 years old, that I really could probably keep running, but I wanted an upgrade. I read someone had issues with wireless keyboard and mouse, I too had this issue but it seems to have resolved itself and I am typing with my wireless right now. Yes the description on the Best Buy website does say 2 HDMI out ports and it does not, for me not a big issue since it does have a VGA port. I am running two displays with no issues at all. I knew buying this means a run of the mill video card, but I am not a gamer, if I was I would have spend the $1000 + dollars it takes to buy a machine to handle all that. This is a very good machine for the average user and does not rate such poor reviews. I plan to use this more for editing a radio program for my church and this machine can handle that with no issues at all. Watching videos on this has been no problem at all. My internet connection is 100 mbps download and 7 upload and I seem to be able to take advantage of that with this computer that my old one could not. My only complaint is that this machine is maxed at 16 gig ram, it comes with 8 and I do plan to upgrade. I will likely make more upgrades along the way, not so much that I need it, but the mechanic in me likes to upgrade everything I buy, so likely a SSD with the operating system on it and use the impressive 2TB HDD to store my pics, radio edits and so on. This is really responsive enough without the SSD, but my laptop is an i7 as well with a 256 GB SSD and it is lightening fast. There is very little bloatware compared to some other PC's and I ran "Decrapifier" and removed the useless programs. For $500 dollars you are getting a good machine with good bones and you can make some upgrades and have a great unit. Since it is only $500 for this sale, you save enough to buy plenty of upgrades to make this machine do whatever you want. So I give it 5 stars and do recommend it. Now if it has issues I will add to the comments on this post.

Just finished getting this computer set up and can say it is very fast, doing exactly what I had hoped it would do. One of the largest power requirements I have is Flight Simulator X Steam edition. FSX takes quite a bit of CPU horsepower to get good frame rates. Play is creamy smooth now compared to my ancient AMD PC.
I am in the process of setting up Ubuntu on a ssd for dual boot operation. Since I knew this PC only had 2 SATA ports and both were occupied, I ordered and have installed a PCI SATA controller card with 2 SATA ports on it. The computer picked up the card fine and have a SSD attached to one of the SATA ports now. There was an unused power connector on the SATA power cable that came with the PC and using that for powering the ssd. Also added another stick of memory for a total of 16gb. For my needs this computer is perfect.

I bought this computer 2 days ago to replace an older HP running Vista which was giving our office problems. For $499 the computer is more than what I expected and needed. The keyboard and mouse has a rather cheap feel but that was expected for the price I paid. The office did not need high end graphics which is another reason I picked this model. It uses the onboard graphics which is sufficient for day to day, typical office work activities. The only things which annoyed me was McAfee anitivirus and Dropbox software which came preinstalled. They both come with free trial but expect you to purchase at a later date. What annoyed me was that dropbox would startup each time I log in with an annoying message for me to create an account and register though I don't use this software. I couldn't figure out a way to disable it after spending a half hour. The software offers no easy way to disable it. To resolve the issue I just uninstalled both McAfee and Dropbox. Windows 10 comes with defender AV so I decided to just use defender for now. I am sure other HP computers probably have the same annoying issue since this is not specific to this model. Overall I am happy with this model and more than meets my expectations.

Folks,
I had to right a simple review on this machine, it is blazing fast!! There is a website that ranks your computer amongst other systems and the chip on this computer i7-6700T is ranked in the top 99 percentile, so is the graphics card. The people who gave this system bad reviews simply did not do their homework in buying this system, so they are simply frustrated. This system I highly recommend. Yeah they mention two HDMI ports and there is only one - but that is the fault of some kid at Best Buy who did not do his homework properly when posting the specifications on this great system. Overall you will not be disappointed!! At the price of $499 it is a MUST BUY!!

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about, I mean the video card and HDMI piece is no reason for a 1 star in my opinion I just picked up a HDMI splitter that did the trick GREAT PC great price !

I didn't know that the case is micro size and not a mid tower. I wouldn't recommend this computer for next-gen gaming. Most graphics cards require a 450W power supply or greater. It can be difficult to change the 180W power supply and to get another to fit inside. Since it is a micro case, only micro size video cards can fit inside. Adding more ram and a micro size graphics card are easy upgrades to make.I would recommend it only if it's on sale and you want to use it as is.

I bought this for my parents, as they were replacing an old Q6600 from Dell. For the price and the hardware, this is a phenomenal deal and is a nice, small little computer.
BUT. The specs on the website are WRONG. There is only one HDMI port. That's a major faux pas, so I'm knocking 2 stars off, as it necessitated a long series of looking for and buying an adapter in my area from VGA to DVI. Not cool.

I was looking for a Intel I7 with good video card to edit some home videos . This one is no good . Right on the first day using ,it freezes ,extremely slow and can only connect 2 monitors . The other ones (Dell and even HP) are much more superior, better video card , 3 or 4 monitor capabilities for $200 more . I was very disappointed and returned within 2 days .

I thought the price was to good to be true, unfortunately there weren't any reviews prior to my purchase. I went into the store to purchase the computer so I could look it over and ask questions, but the store didn't have any in stock. I received the computer by UPS yesterday, tried to set it up, got as far as the start page but couldn't proceed any further because I had no keyboard or mouse control, rebooted and noticed at start up there was a "Keyboard Error Message". I rang the Geek Squad, he had no suggestions whats so ever, 2.5 hours after receiving the computer I was back at Best Buy getting a refund

Just unpacked the computer - I bought this particular model because the detailed specs (Aug 23, 2016) clearly said 2 HDMI outs. But, there is only one. Been on the phone with BB for the last hour trying to work out a solution.
