Let me just say that this is a good headset for the money. When I opened it, however, I thought it was missing a piece. It seemed that it wasn't just me, either, after looking it up. The headset's "head piece" so-to-speak is clear and, when taped to the clear plastic, makes it hard to notice. The quality if decent, but I have been told that people are able to hear, say, a fan blowing on me. That doesn't make it bad because my friend can talk beside me and they can't hear them. The headpiece is comfortable and for the low price it is, it is a really good headset instead of getting the Official Xbox headsets. And it lights up as an added bonus. Add this to a light up controller (which does exist), and you have yourself a pretty cool combination. I have included both a video to help with the finding of said piece and a link to a decent light-up controller.

This was the 3rd headset I purchased. I had the Turtle Beach X12 and hated the way they connected. I didn't like having to be attached to the system. I then upgraded to the Turtle Beach X32 since they're wireless, but constantly had connection problems even though my internet service is super fast. I decided to go with this pair due to the reviews and I liked how they only connect to the controller. What an amazing buy! Great clarity and very comfortable. They work like a charm and are a lot cheaper than my Turtle Beach sets.

Was looking for a headset to replace the ones that came with the Xbox 360. I was trying to decide between headphones for both ears or this. Pleased I went with these - price was right, the earpiece/headband is relatively comfortable, and people can hear me clearly without having to manipulate the mic every time I want to talk. I also like that it plugs directly into the controller, so I don't have wires all across the floor.

was skeptical at first about getting this mic with all the bad reviews below, but the thing works fine... i waited a month to post a review to see if anything would go bad with it.. nothing... to be honest i don't know if the other buyers below just had a bad product or what, but mines hasn't shortened out or anything. the lights shine brightest when connected to a wired controller. not so good when connected to a wireless.. i don't mind, as i use the wired most of the time. the speaker is deafening. it's that loud. the mic picks up voice quite fine. its not a sensitive microphone and i liek it. it means it will will not pickup any background noises until you speak into the mic.. the mic is not a sensitivity mic , which is what i know the unhappy people below were hoping for. it wont pickup mumbling, or murmuring (low voices), nor phones ringing,door knocking,etc. it will pick up a few background noises once you talk into the mic, but you would need to talk as if you were talking to someone in a normal voice.. not yelling or almost yelling as someone said below. overall if you want a sensitvie boom mic like the old xbox 360 microphone, or turtle beahces, i'll suggest the product(s) below.

I was looking for a headset to use while I save up for a nicer pair. I wasn't expecting much from this one and was pleasantly surprised. Sound is good, no one has complained about my microphone and it's easy to use buttons for volume and mute at the base of the controller are really nice. If you are looking for something for cheap I would totally suggest this.

My daughter has destroyed every headset she's had so far for the xbox. I can't afford a turtlebeach headset so I teied this one. She loves the glow and says it has nice and clear sound, and is lightweight and comfortable.

It's not the best headset. You kind of have to talk loud into the mic to pick it up even when right up against your mouth. Other than that it has good sound and fits good on head

My son has a set of Turtle Beach and they are nice but go through batteries faster than I can keep up. Bought these as alternative and they work just great. Would recommend.

I got this for my son and the sound quality is good and it last longer than a lot of headsets I have bought him. Really good headset.

I had no idea with these. They stayed in place, adjusted easily, were not heavy, good sound for the price point.

The sound is clear and the headphone are comfortable. I don't really care for the glowing light but overall good product.

Decent quality, decent sound. Not the top of the line but very good quality for the price. Sturdy feel.

These are by far better then then ones Microsoft gives you. The sound is crisper and friends can hear you clearer. two problems I have is the mute light burn out if you the headset connected tithe handset also once the head piece connection point breaks off from the ear piece be prepared to go through tape just to use them for a hour till the tape looses it's grip. Luckily they're once $20 same as the weak 1st party Microsoft ones.

These headphones are great for this price. I had several of the $20ish One eared Xbox brand ones but all of them broke very quickly. These are the next lowest price range but are WAY better. The sound quality is better than expected. My only negative is that the mic part seems a little cheap and doesn't stay where I want it to as easily as the nicer Turtle Beaches do. But overall this is a great pair of headphones.

Comfortable with good sound and not over priced when I bought them and it was regular price

This is the third headset we have purchased this year because the wires keep getting shorted and the mic stops working. We bought this about a month ago and it is still working great. The only problem we found is that it did not plug in correctly into our wired controller. However, it does fit normally in all wireless controllers. Overall, good headset.

Bought this headset for my child. He absolutely loves it. Had previously purchased a turtle headset that cost three times as much and it did not last long. This is much cheaper and appears it will last a bit longer. Great buy!

I bought these for my grandson. He's an active player and tends to leave the headphones lying around everywhere. They have held up well. He says the sound it great and easy to use. I would recommend to a friend.

I'm actually on my second one of these headsets. I really do like them, hence my buying a replacement, but my first one only lasted for a year. I'm not sure why it failed, but until it died, I never had a single complaint. I'd love to be able to use this while also using the keyboard attachment, but that's really my only complaint.
