Simple to use, backlit remote that is more efficient than the gaming remote for media operations. Only complaint is that the arrow pad could use a more tactile differentiation. The ring that operates direction and the center pad that selects an operation feel like the same button. It’s a minor issue that is only notuced with lights out.

This would be helpful for video apps only as it simulates standard remotes.Not suitable for Gameplay.

I own an Xbox One X which gives me the ability to play 4K UHD Blu-rays. Usually I use my Xbox One controller to navigate the menu in the Blu-Ray App which can be clunky and sometimes I accidentally hit the fast forward buttons when placing the controller down on my table. This remote is perfect for accessing all my apps and while playing my movies. Plus, it lights up which makes it easier to use when the lights are off. It has a all the Xbox A,X,Y and B buttons so you could theoretically use it while playing games. It’s a must have product if you use your Xbox for more than just gaming!

It's a remote. My only complaint is the buttons are pretty stiff. Other than that it works as expected with more functions than my old small remote.

Like the feel of the remote. buttons seem a little on the softer side. key back light whenever you move it is pretty cool. it's a remote

Does what exactly what it's supposed to do... controls my XBOX ONE! Great design and textured grip, as well. Like it so much, I bought two! :)

remote is sleek however not every button is lit up. works great! nice feel and grip to it. doesnt feel cheap.

recently switched from PS3 to XBox One S. I primarily use it for media with some gaming on the side, so I needed a remote. I like the Sony controller layout better, but this one works fine for XBox. keys have backlighting whenever the controller moves so that is kind of cool. wish the buttons had a little more descriptive labels though like Sony's

If you've bought an Xbox or PS system, you'll already know that you really do need the remote to bring put the full potential of the game system. We have multiple PS systems so we knew we'd really need the remote along with the system. It makes operating the system so much easier when not playing a game.

If you frequently watch DVDs on your xbox one and are tired of how irritating it is to pause and fast forward using a controller then this remote definitely helps. However it is still not quite perfect and lacks a little responsiveness.

TV and xbox remote in one almost. For the price it isn't bad to make life alittle easier so you dont have to switch between your TV/cable remote and Xbox remote but you then need to use the One Guide not your regular STB guide.

I love this remote! I use it with my Xbox One, which is my central hub for all my entertainment needs (movies, Netflix, cable TV, Hulu, etc.). Super intuitive, non-descript, and feels great in the hand.

this remote came with my gaming system. I wasn't sure I would use it, but it does come in pretty handy and a lot easier to control the TV verses using the controller.

I got this for free in a bundle, but now after using it a while I'm realizing everyone who doesn't 'just' game on their Xbox should also have this! It makes viewing TV through the Xbox very convenient.

Got this with my xbox one forza horizon 3 bundle, I didn't think it was cool at the time but I use it every day. Even my girlfriend uses it with no problem to pick shows on nextflix.

I never new they had this until I opened up my new Xbox. It’s essential a remote for the Xbox and I think it’s really cool to have for using Netflix and other video services!
