i used the hinge method of attachment thanks to another reviewer's extremely helpful suggestion. it's very simple and just requires scotch tape and some patience. (i watched a youtube video for this and would suggest you do the same if you're a little nervous like me!) sure, this product could use a few instructions, but honestly, i feel very pleased with it regardless. as long as you put some work into making sure the screen goes on right, it works well. i did have a few air bubbles once my screen fell flat for the first time, but those are easy enough to iron out. just wrap the red cloth they give you around the little cardboard tab and use this to gently push out the bubbles (BEFORE you remove the upper screen protector tab).

My 6 year old has had this protector on the Switch for over 3l2 yewrs now and it has zero damage!! Ive been pleased with it, considering the age my child is.

Love this. It was easy to put on and I did it at the store. It’s nice and clear. Just wish it had a more of a rubber squeegee and lint sticker with a standard wet wipe. If it had that, I would have gave it 5 stars, its a great product none the less!

I installed it myself. Made sure my hands were washed and no dust particles were around and once i squeegeed it on, its like a 2nd protecting screen. Especially if you can do it and get the bubbles out. Its perfect.

It protects the screen- & you can definitely see that. It’s been collecting scratches very well even with light use. The scratches look like hairs, quite noticeable while playing because you keep wanting to blow the hair off but it’s not hair. This screen protector works, but I’m sure there are better ones out there.

Not sure if it's glass or not. Directions, none. But if you've ever put one one it's the same as the rest. Not a wide selection at the store so better than nothing.

It had no instructions for installation if I hadn't done something like this with my phone before I wouldn't have gotten any of the bubbles out. *BIGGEST ISSUE* After you install it there two tabs on either side of the protector that do not peel away. I had to take a razor blade to them after I installed the screen to remove them. I wasn't too happy about this considering I spend $300 on a console I might accidentally scratch as soon as I got it out of the box. The pictures do not show the Tabs at all so I would honestly just go with a completely different provider or store and have one put on.

There is a larger cut out for the original Switch that is not depicted on the front of the product packaging. The BestBuy product specifications deceptively state compatibility with OLED Switch too. However, that largest cut out is annoyingly visible when installed. I would NOT recommend this for OLED Switch owners. I’m typing this a second time because the BestBuy iOS app got to screen I couldn’t exit from while selecting photos.

Excellent value for this price level of screen protector. Official switch protection ensures that the product won't overheat when docked and application was easy.

I used the hinge method to attach. After cleaning the screen. I carefully lined up the protector over the screen, held it in place with one hand, and with the other I taped it to the top edge of the switch (like hinges on a door). Then swung it off the screen, peeled away the bottom cover and swung it back into place. It went on perfectly with no bubbles smudges or dust. Then I peeled the top cover away and the result was a perfectly aligned and installed protector. If you follow this method this product should work perfectly for you.

Easy to install, seems to provide good protection. Installed it when we got the switch out of its box. Not visible scratches or damage yet but we haven’t tracked with the switch or really used it much out of the dock yet. Seems a good value.

Screen Protector does what it is designed to do and is well made. Although it is not as good as a glass screen protector would be it does do a good job of protection the screen. It does not obstruct the screen clarity and the screen is responsive. Overall I would recommend this screen protector for the price and it does the job even though i'm sure there are better options.

The kit came with everything required to apply the screen protector. The wedge (e.g. the thing you use to press air bubbles out from under the protector when applying) was just a piece of stiff cardboard, but I found I didn't need it very much when taking my time to apply the protector to the screen correctly. If I ran into too many air bubbles, I would have used one of the plastic wedges I have left over from years of cellphone screen protector kits, since the cardboard version would be more tedious. All in all it went on easy and is holding up so far. It's only been a few weeks, the true test will be if I need to replace this in 6+ months.

I bought this Day 1 with my switch after reading about the scratches from the stock dock. I have A LOT of experience with screen protectors so I had to issues at all getting it on perfect with no lint, dust, etc. And after several months of use its still perfect. But does have scratches on it which is actually what I bought it for. It has protected the switches screen from getting the same scratches in the lower left and right of the screen. Im sure Nintendo will address this with the "NEW" Nintendo switch, but for now do yourself a favor and get one of these to protect your screen. Take your time installing it, watch videos with tips on how to install and you should be OK. Its well worth the money and time to protect your screen. Once your screen is scratched its scratched forever.

I would have given this screen protector 5 stars but some weird tabs you use to apply it came off with ruff edges. This was super easy to install and will protect your device from the dock which sometimes can scratch the screen pretty badly. Do yourself a favor and purchase this before you even use the switch !!
