I was trying to decide between this 30L bag and the 20L bag, but I had to go for the 20L instead, because this was simply too large. The construction is impeccable, and if you want to carry around a LOT of stuff, this is the bag for you. However if you're like me and you just want something to hold your computer, lunch, and a change of clothes, the 20L will be more than enough for you.

This Peak Design 30L camera backpack is absolutely fantastic! First the Pro’s: It’s made of excellent strong and durable material inside and out. Obviously very asteticly pleasing. Tough outer material, strong zippers and a very plush inner material. The elastic/soft like inner pockets are great. There are so many pockets of different sizes that can hold everything in its own place and be secure yet stretchy at the same time when needed. I bought the 30L size and surely glad I did. I can fit 2 APS-C camera bodies in it with 2 mid size lenses and two telephoto lenses (70-300 size at max tele’s). In the inner pockets I can fit about 4 batteries, 2 chargers, a couple small SSD’s, pens, small note pad etc. And in the back a 15” MacBook Pro in the laptop sleeve. (Remember: my equipment doesn’t take up as much space as Full Frame camera gear will) I guess the only thing that I would change would be to add an extra 10L to it (in my case). This bag was VERY well thought out! There was obviously a ton of effort to maximize every inch of the bag while keeping comfort. Weather proofing is great, it’s very comfortable when fully STUFFED with camera equipment and laptop. The dividers in the main compartment are outstanding and made just right to fit many different sizes of lenses. It is certainly the most thought out, comfortable and nicest backpack I’ve ever seen (and it should be for the money). My one and only complaint is that I need just one more of the main pocket size openings in the main compartment. Other than that I have no complaints about it! If you’re just going to use it for day use, the 20L would probably be perfect. But anything other than a quick day out and about, might wanna get the 30L. Although the price difference between the two is only $30... Hope this helps!

I love this bag. I use it everyday, and not just for my camera. A little bit more padding on the shoulder straps would help, but overall it’s a great bag.

This bag will SAVE your back. And it will probably be one of the last Camera bags youll buy out of necessity. It’s expensive but worth it.

I can't believe it's been 6 years since I purchased this backpack (when I still had my Canon 6DMk2). I can't even count how many trips I took this on. From sand deserts to snow deserts, from waterfalls to big cities. This thing is amazing. I had my reservations before buying this because of the price, but there are absolutely no regrets as today it still looks like new. I feel just a bit special as they don't make this color in 30L anymore. My regular ingredients are: Canon R5C with grip. 100Wh battery, travelers tripod bunch of filters and cleaning supplies. Usually 2-3 lenses. Charging brick. 2 extra batteries (4-total). More than a day; 16" MacBook Pro, sometimes also an iPad. I even manage a change of clothing for day 2, but that's about it.
