    A must have

Amazing product, helps when you are doing those long photography days. I have it in my mirrorless (Nikon Z6) camera since I have a few heavy zoom lenses and it is so useful that I couldn’t go out without it. I can see it though that it could be more useful if you have a DSLR or full frame but it is also a must if you own a mirrorless. This piece is a must for me and changed my photography. I give it 5 stars.

Great hand strap/clutch. Part of Peak Design’s system of camera accessories. Offers a stable alternative to a neck strap. Fully adjustable, well made and secure.

    Mixed Feelings

I bought this hoping it would give my wrist support to not get tired so quickly. I don’t feel like it does that at all. I will say that it does give me security of not dropping my camera on accident. It’s great for short sessions but on wedding shoots, I prefer the peak design strap. I love that the clips allow me to use both products easily.

I’m leaving this review and giving it 4 stars, because of the simple fact that I really wanted to love this, but it didnt fit my Sony A7RV comfortably, it left awkward room for me to hit the shutter button. Now I’m sure this wouldn’t happen with another body like a canon, but I just wanted to give sony users a heads up. Hope this review helps you out!

I love the look and gives a secure feeling while holding the camera. At first the strap seemed too tight but it probably just needed to be worn in to allow it to be a bit more flexible. It does take away the tripod mount but that is to be expected when seeing the design.

This hand strap is very well made. Works great. Only down-side is that it requires a hex key to tighten it to the camera. Not a big problem, but have to have the hex key with you if you want to swap it out for a tripod or shoulder strap.

    Great fit/hold when shooting, but...

Perfect fit for active shooting. Focus on the subject without dealing with strap or worrying about dropping the camera overboard. However, I cannot quickly access my Canon 6D-ii controls. I have to stop and loosen the strap to make adjustments. That becomes cumbersome with a heavier camera and lens //What I truly miss with Peak Design products--I have four, and they are amazing, is the ability to move seamlessly from leash to strap. //Still-the Hand Strap is a great product, you just have to adjust to IT and figure how it will best work for you.

I have been a long time user of Nikon digital cameras and they have served me well. After being offered a rebate and a generous trade-in value for a older Nikon camera, I purchased the Z6 mirrorless camera. There is a learning curve but once I felt comfortable with the Z6, the results of the photo images are extraordinary. And the more I become familiar with the camera, I know that I will have better images. The use of the camera is quite comfortable and very easy to operate.

I bought this strap to use it with my Sony A7M3 2 years ago. I know there are some negative reviews on this, especially with mirrorless cameras, but, for me, it is permanently attached to my camera. you just need to learn how to fasten and unfasten efficiently. now I am a neck strap hater!

After I began using the Peak Design Hand Strap, I never went back to a classic neck strap. It fits comfortably in my hand, the material is high quality, and it slides neatly in my Peak Design Capture Camera Clip.

I bought this for my sony a7 III not know that it’s made for bigger cameras. Overall the build quality is really good and comfortable in the hands. I won’t buy it if you own a mirrorless.

When I purchased this, originally it was for my digital camera (Fujifilm XT30), but soon I realized it works even better for my much heavier medium format film camera! What's awesome about Peak Design brand is that they have an intuitive "snap" connectors that makes it easy to separate the camera from strap mount (however: it IS a little annoying that the second connection point is where you would mount a tripod so you need to keep an allen wrench on you to take it off. But it's worth it in order to have a secure grip!)

This strap is great. Doesnt fit my hand quite right on the sony a7iii, it's more so an issue with the mounting points on the camera then the actual strap.
