This strap is so comfortable, it does not dig into your neck like the skinny straps do. This strap is not too wide and not too skinny but just right for my Fuji X-T2. The material is smooth and feels very durable. One of the biggest advantages is that you can quickly remove the strap from the camera anchor points which is a plus when I want to set my camera on a tripod or a gimbal. It also is super easy to adjust the length of the strap as it has two adjustable locks on each side. In my opinion it is the best strap out there.

I was intrigued by this system for the quick release part so that I only had to have one strap for my several camera bodies and large lenses. Plus I don’t always keep the strap attached like when it’s on a tripod and don’t need the strap blowing around in the wind or clanging against my tripod legs causing noise and vibration. The strap is basically the same material as a seatbelt so is very rugged and should hold up to lots of abuse. The buckles allow easy adjustments to be made and the quick release tabs are pretty durable as well. I am an outdoor/nature/sports photographer and my equipment gets used in all sorts of weather. The strap will allow me to have one body with a wide angle lens sling over my shoulder while using my large lens on a tripod with a second body and be able to transition between the two easily

If I had more time to write this article, I would go into detail on why I believe it’s the best option for neck strap on the market. Since I don’t, I will simply cover off on a few features that really jump out to me. First, I want to state that comfort is key when it comes to neck straps. The standard Canon neck strap cuts into my neck for some reason. I don’t know why, but it’s always irritated my skin. The SlideLITE has never bothered me while wearing it. Second, I am able to use the SlideLITE with an Arca Swiss plate. That means, I never have to take the SlideLITE off my camera to slap a plate on it and vice-versa. That my friends is a huge time saver for me. Now let us jump into something I'm not a fan of. When I first started looking into the SlideLITE I emailed the company to ask if there was a difference between the SlideLITE and the Pro model. They told me, no but, I would be better off with the Pro version due to the size of my camera. This confused me as I read that both models can handle full-size cameras. I went back and forth with them before getting a straight answer that the SlideLight can handle a full body without any problems but the Pro would give me a wider strap and thicker padding. Now if I planned on keeping the strap on me all day for hours at a time I would think a thicker and wider strap would be useful but for the most part, the strap that comes with the SlideLITE is perfect. I can simply roll it up and put it in my camera bag without taking up much space. I really wasn't a fan of getting the run around from support about if the SlideLITE would handle the weight of a Canon 5D Mark IV. Needless to say, it's working flawlessly and I'm super happy I saved money going with the SlideLITE over the Pro. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a camera. Also, I can't forget to mention how Peak Design has made all of the there straps interchangeable. The system is brilliant and being able to so quickly with a push of my thumb click it off my camera and back on is amazing. I do however wish they would find a better way for the Clutch to come off the camera. Being able to quickly remove it in the same form as the SlideLITE would be wonderful.

I love everything about this camera strap. It lays flat & stays put. I wear it crossbody but it works as a neck & shoulder strap also. The material is very sturdy & feels good to the touch - exactly like a seat belt. The quick adjust buckles are easy to operate even one-handed. I especially like the quick release tabs & the safety color cord that goes from black to yellow to red gives me peace of mind. The "Lite" version is just the right width for my Sony Mirrorless. Very happy with this purchase.

I've been quite impressed with this strap compared to some smaller Black Rapid sling straps that I own, especially the Metro sling (the shoulder pad always seems to slip out of place or upside down for me). The SlideLite hugs the body very nicely when used as a sling, better than a Black Rapid strap in my view, and I like the idea of being able to attach the strap in various ways (although if you have the attaching loops unused on the camera they sort of cling around when you are walking). This is not really a big deal, but unlike Black Rapid slings I find that you need think a bit more about how you sling the camera - sometimes I've found that the camera is the wrong way around when I sling the camera around. With the Black Rapids, the rotating connector on the base of the camera means that you can't sling the camera the 'wrong' way, but at the expense of the camera moving around a lot more when slung against your body. Folks with smaller mirrorless cameras like a Fuji XT-10 will want to look elsewhere. The base plate is big enough to cover up the battery/SD door, which is very inconvenient since you need a tool to tighten the plate. A Black Rapid straps with the small attachment (like the the Snap-R) is definitely better. But for bigger mirrorless cameras like the X-PRO2, the SlideLite is a good fit.

This is an amazing strap. Way better then the strap your camera normally comes with. I am not a big camera strap user because at some points when I'm doing my photo shoots the strap gets in the way and is a hassale to take off. This strap is super easy to take off with just 2 buttons so easy to put on and off. And I love the quality of the strap

I think that its a no brainer and that anyone with a camera should get it as it provides an easy way to put on and take off the strap. My only problem with it is that there is nothing to hold the strap together where it meets the camera and that means that it spreads out and gets in the way when taking a photo. I have since remedied this issue by using clips to hold it together. I just wish peak design could do something to fix that. I would still recommend it.

I had the cuff links before and love it. I wanted to replace my camera straps for they're all useless. This brand makes really good products and they worked! Love that I can adjust the length easily and comes with Arca Swiss quick release plate for mounting it on tripods, monopods, etc.

My wife wanted new straps for her camera. The ones that came on the camera kept coming undone and she was afraid of dropping the camera. She picked this one out and I got it installed with no problems. Now you can easily hook and unhook the strap and she doesn't have to worry about it coming undone. She also said it's pretty comfortable to wear for the short time she wears it.

This strap is a great design. Quick and easy to remove and reattach, and includes a tripod mount you can keep permanently on your camera. Easy to adjust the length... so much better than the strap that came with my Sony a6300. Seems like it's made with quality materials. Used for a couple months with no issues.

I've seen the Peak Design gear for the last few years and liked how a bunch of them looked. Like everyone else I'm always looking for a good camera strap and bag. I was in the Syracuse B.B. and they've increased the amount of photo gear they carry which is when I got a chance to check out the strap first hand. They had all 3 straps in stock and I was debating between the Slide Lite and the Leash model's due to the size of the camera's that the strap's being used with. I went with the slightly larger Slide Lite thinking that I can also use it with slightly larger cameras where the Leash may dig into my shoulder. I've just spent a full day shooting in some really lousy weather and REALLY like the strap! They include 4 anchors which makes swapping between cameras or just how the camera's hanging very easy. The feature I used more than that was the quick adjustment for the strap length. It's quick and positive. I plan on ordering some additional anchors so I can outfit other cameras with the system. It's well built and considering what it is it's reasonable from a price standpoint.
