Cameron Crowe did an outstanding job doing his research on the band, directing the documentary, and putting together a perfect film for all Pearl Jam fans!

I've been a fan of the band since back in the 90's. This is a great addition to any collection.

An amazing look at the beginnings and history of this great band. It has a lot of live music but don't be mistaken, it is a documentary (and a brilliant one may I add). So if you are not yet a fan of the band you should probably start somewhere else (Pearl Jam - Live at the Garden DVD). As a music documentary it is one the best I have seen (along with Tom Petty's Runnin' Down a Dream and The Beatles' Anthology). It is beautifully directed by Cameron Crowe who is not only a brilliant director, but also a big fan/friend of the band. My only complaint is that most of the material is from their early days and their latter albums are barely mentioned (their last album Backspacer for example). However, the material from the early years is so good that it doesn´t make the documentary less interesting, I just wish I could have been a bit longer like the other two documentaries I mentioned before. So to round up, this is a great music documentary...if you are even a casual fan of the band buy it now, your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Great documentary that chronicles Pearl Jam’s career from the beginning to where it is now. Since the film was put together by a friend of the band, that friendship really comes through in the movie and makes you feel connected to the band.

Just finished watching it and it was GREAT!! Brought back memories of past concerts I attended. Excellent documentary!
