I bought the Pebble Time Round so I would be able to see my blood sugar numbers on my wrist by pairing it to my iPhone with the Dexcom CGM app running...I love it! After 25 years of type 1 diabetes I don't know how I managed without it. I haven't worn any kind of watch for 7 years so was a little reluctant and didn't want anything big and bulky. The Pebble Time Round is slim, elegant and looks great. The ability to receive notifications straight to my watch and be able to reply instantly and discreetly to text messages is very useful and the health/sleep function is a fun bonus.

I got the watch on sale for $199.I have been a long term original Pebble user, and I will continue using it when swimming and working in the garden. I got a new one for looks and voice support. As for looks,it looked exactly as on picture. Not a luxury watch, but very pretty. Some reviews state it looks cheap. I guess, you need to shell much, much more to have luxury look and feel. As for functionality, it is great, with some cons, and I am sure will be addressed later. My main concern is very week vibration for alarms. You can not rely on it completely. I guess, it is due to very slim body of the unit. The screen has less contrast in comparison to old Pebble. It is easy to read in normal light ( even with my ages eye sight) and back light for other conditions. It is speaking about watch face. Different watch faces are easier or harder to see in different light conditions.I took two pictures of faces without back light. Notifications are easy to read and better with the back light ( same as old Pebble). Wide white bezel is turned into part of design. Some may do not like it, but it is subjective. I had to play with different watch faces to achieve nice combination of strap/bezel/watch face( again, subjective). Some of my older apps are not supported on new Pebble (yet), but I noticed more new apps come every day. Some are even better than the old ones. I really miss "ring my Phone app.The OS on the watch is fabulous, and voice support is great. I have an accent and it still understands me correctly with very few mistakes. Android Wear does not like me at all:(( Some people mentioned that notification stays lit for very short time and pressing button simply dismisses it.Not true.It takes double press of the middle right button to dismiss notification. If you did not catch notification, press middle right button once and then left button once.It will be lit again, and you can scroll thought it using bottom and top right buttons. Battery life was my concern, but it lasts full day without problem and has some juice for the next day . It really takes only 15 minutes or so to recharge it. I can not tell how log the battery would use under normal use, since I am not using it normally, trying different apps and faces and using back light a lot. Overall, Pebble time Round is a step forward from original Pebble. I can not wait what Pebble will bring us in the future.

It's about the size of a normal watch, and has a perfect balance of simplicity and smart-watch functionality. Perfect for people who want something to do an admirable job, but don't want to lug an anvil around on their wrist.

My wife has been looking for a smartwatch that isn't gigantic on her wrist (a petite 5'3"). This is everything that she is looking for. It gives her all of the notifications to her wrist instead of carrying around her big phone in the house (note 5). The voice responding is amazing and works great. The limited number of apps for the round is still quite low, but this was only released in November. I got this on a good sale, but I don't know if it is worth $250. What you can do is quite limited, but it does what no other smartwatch does in the size that it is. It's amazingly small and light, but still packs the punch of a real smartwatch. The battery life is ok at best, but this was done to make the watch smaller. Generally about a day, but can get into the second day most days. It isn't completely intuitive and there are very few resources out there that I've found with good instructions on how to use the watch to do everything that it can do. I'm hoping that the more we play with it the better we'll come to understand all that it can do. I have not seen a better smartwatch that would fit a woman's wrist (not to say that I don't completely want one as a 6'2" guy). It's so small, but can do everything you need it to. I have found some limitations, but for what it can do this is definitely worth it.

This is my second Pebble. I had a Steel for six months before buying this one. When the price dropped on the Round I jumped on it because I wanted something smaller with a color screen. The round size was also appealing too. Pros - size, weight, and feel. I wear it all day and barely notice it on my arm. The color screen is very visible, especially in direct sunlight. Cons - Battery life is definitely not as good as the other Pebble models. I've gotten into the habit of charging every day but have almost forgotten a couple times. I'm also on my second Round because the first one had a screen issue where it wasn't quite level and tilted slightly clockwise. The exchanged it and the second one tilts slightly counterclockwise. It's less noticeable than the first one but still annoying. I love the watch however and have learned to live with it.

I looked at several smartwatches before purchasing my Pebble. It's a very simple smartwatch & easy to use. I like the option of choosing different watch faces, notifications of my emails, social media, etc. Also being able to receive text messages & the capability to respond to them. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the battery life on the smartwatch only last a day before it needs to be charged again.

The watch is thin and light, and looks like a real watch. However, there are two nagging issues - the most critical one is the 2-day battery - this should be lengthened to the standards set by Pebble Time (or Time Steel); the second issue is the smaller list of apps - hopefully this will be remedied over time.

Prior to buying the Pebble Time Round, I had already been a Pebble user for over a year, so I was already familiar with all of its functions and its limitations. I already owned the original Pebble, the Pebble Time, and the Pebble Time Steel. So why on earth did I buy the Pebble Time Round? I am a female with VERY small wrists, and this was the first smartwatch released by any company that didn't feel completely overwhelming on my wrist. I bought the others because that's all there was at the time for an iOS user, but now, the Pebble Time Round is what I reach for every day. I still use the others for different functions, but for my day to day wear, it's the Pebble Time Round. The PTR is so thin and light, I barely notice it's there. I also love the fact that it's so inconspicuous -- it just looks like a normal watch, not a gadget. No, the battery life isn't as great as the others, and it's only water resistant instead of water proof like the others, but if you have tiny wrists like I do, those are sacrifices that you'll gladly make just to have a watch that actually fits you. The leather strap that comes with the watch is very comfortable, but it doesn't seem very durable. I bought a silicone strap from a company that's known for selling wraps and screen protectors for Pebble watches and it works great for every day wear. It also has the same quick release function so that I can swap out straps in seconds. Pebble consistently releases firmware updates to their watches that improve and increase their functionality, and the developer community is great. Smartstraps are now becoming a reality, so additional functions can be added as well, like NFC. I tried out an Apple Watch and returned it after 2 days. I truly believe that at this point, Pebble is the only company who has nailed what a smartwatch should be. With the longer battery life, the always on screen that is readable indoors and out, and interactions with the watch that only take a second or two. I feel like it adds functionality that my phone CAN'T DO, not just mirror functions that my phone can already do, and do better. I also feel like Pebble does have an actual community of users that truly feels like a community. Anyone can get it on development, and Pebble actually listens to how their users currently use and want to use their products, and design them accordingly. They focus on core functions -- a watch first, with some extra really handy functionality added in. They don't try to cram a smartphone into a watch, and they don't overwhelm you with complexity. And I love that they have stuck with physical buttons. Some tech reviewers seem to think that this is a negative, but when you can operate the watch without looking at the screen, with just a press of a button, with gloves on, in water...you start to understand that a touchscreen on a watch is not a positive, it's a negative. The PTR is light, comfortable, and fun. It's technology that fits seamlessly into my life and adds functionality that is actually helpful and purposeful. I highly recommend it.

I wanted a smart watch to use with my iPhone but I didn't want to get an apple watch because of the high price tag. The Pebble Round has a lot of apps and a lot of watch faces, way more than apple watch. The display is always "on" with the reflective color display. And the battery will last at least a couple of days before it needs a charge. I'm very happy with the watch, it has most of the functionality that I need.

I had been accustomed to a Samsung Gear 2 which has quite a few more features. I bought this because of its size and the price. I am ok with the trade off between features and size since practically all I really want besides the time is to get notifications. I have had some issues charging due to the magnet that holds the charging cable in place being too weak to maintain a consistent hold. This works well for the price but I am not totally satisfied.

in simple terms the pebble round is exactly what I was looking for in a.smart watch. I have an Apple watch as well but the round is my favorite. it is thin, keeps a two day plus charge and allows me to choose the features I want to use (Apple does not let you remove certain features) . it's unassuming yet elegant

I am very satisfied with this watch. It is between a regular, time only watch (which I am old so I have worn a watch for decades) and the big, clunky, try to be a phone on your wrist smartwatches. it does have limitations compared to the Apple watch, Moto 360, Gear 2, etc., but those smartwatches are really too big to me, and the battery life is terrible. This fits the "just right" mixture of being the same size and look as a regular watch, but allows me to see all texts, email, alerts, etc. without having to get out my phone. For me, this is not a laziness/convenience thing, but there are many times where my phone must be silent and I cannot pull out my phone and look at it, but I am allowed a quick glance at my wrist to see if the latest email or text is important - or if I am getting a call that I need to excuse myself to the hall to take. Of course, they do have many useful apps that are very handy. Battery life is good for a rechargeable - probably could go for 2 full days between charges, but it is nothing to a regular watch that gets a new battery once a year. Also, this is not water resistant, so you should be very mindful to keep it away from sinks, buckets, etc. Overall, I am very pleased.

I really wanted a smart watch for notifications, music control and fitness. I gave the Pebble Time Round a try and have had it for about a week now. I am absolutely loving it right now for all the following reasons: 1. Always on time 2. Although there are a lot of apps for the Pebble Time, many developers haven't ported their apps to the Time Round. And, that is actually a good thing, b/c I don't really want this watch for apps. I want it for the reasons stated above 3. The physical buttons allow me to control my music with one or two physical button presses at most - there's no touchscreen, so you have to push buttons to control; but, b/c there is no touchscreen, you can do this without even having to look at the watch 4. There's no complexity b/c there's not much "to do" on the watch. I receive notifications, but I can't act on them and that's fine. Like I mentioned above, I ended up acting on notifications directly on my iPhone b/c the watch was too slow. Also, this watch has a better and more sleek design than the original pebble time.

Given as a graduation gift. My girlfriend loves it. It's sleek and elegant and the color is awesome. The thinness of the watch is definitely another plus. The only complaint she has is battery life. When running a third party app the watch will barely make it through the day

The technology is awesome and the watch is lightweight, too. I mostly use it for the tracking of my sleep, distance walked, and the weather, time, forecast, and other stuff. Some days when I'm not in the mood I'll just use my watch face that has time, today's date, weather, etc. My only thing is that I wish it was connected to Siri and could talk or at least listen through the phone to query Siri.

The sleeker design of the Time Round looks way better than any of the other bulky watches out there. Even the prior Pebbles. Same simple button commands, nice color e-paper, The far buttons aren't as easy to hit as the original Pebble and eras only two days battery versus the original's week-long, but the trade-offs are well worth it. Running the Pebble app on your phone can quickly drain you battery (iPhone user). However, if you only want to receive notifications and use the watch apps which do not need to constantly connect to the internet you actually do NOT need to run the Pebble app to use this watch. Just open it up to update, load new faces/apps, etc.
