Not the same as P5, but a really good adventure
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is nothing like the oringinal Persona 5, but it doesn't have to be. It's just what I wanted in a spin-off/sequel to one of my favourite games ever. The story and villains aren't anything new or outstanding, but I didn't really want them to be. I just love the P5 cast and wanted to see more casual summer vacation interactions with them, and there's plenty of that. The dialogue is funny and it shows off each character's personalities and inner problems really well, especially with the new character Sophia. Not sure why they keep adding redhead girls to Persona 5 but they have both been among my favourite characters, and the way they write Sophia helps each already existing character shine brighter when the robot has to try to understand what makes them human. The loss of social links is kinda a bummer, but the new characters are really fun and cool. The new combat style works really well for a new take on the SMT style. I wouldn't want a full "Persona 6" like this, but it definitely fits in a spin-off/sequel like this. Very rewarding when you finally understand how it works and how you can use each persona you craft's strengths while not draining your SP every fight. I preordered it and my package came the day it came out in mint condition, would recommend ordering it here if it's still the cheapest option.

Great predecessor
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Played Persona 5 and when I heard about this game being released in Japan, was very excited for it to be released. Went through the campaign and I have to say, this game just might be better than the base game. The combat is very entertaining and the story is a continuation of the base game so that was refreshing to see all the characters once again!

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you enjoyed Persona 5, you’ll enjoy this game for sure. The story, the characters, the gameplay, and the soundtrack, made it so hard to put down the controller. Speaking from someone who’s played previous persona games, this game really does it’s justice in making you feel like you’re with your friends when you’re playing this game.

Hack and Slash Sequel of P5
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like the vanilla Persona 5 lore, this game acts as the sequel. Unlike the base game though, it is a hack and slash (not a turn based rpg). This game leaves out things that makes Persona games fun like the hangouts with confidants. This also means you will be single in the game even if you dated someone in base p5.

Great game, but play P5/Royal first
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fun game! It retains the art design and cel shading of Persona 5, but takes the story in a new direction. I do like it being an action RPG instead of a standard JRPG as well. However, the plot begins where Person 5/Royal ends, so that needs to be played first to understand a lot of what's going on in this game.

Fun game do not expect a full Persona 5 experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much fun to play. I love the muso-style game! This is really fun and is great with its story and characters but do not expect to be like the original Persona 5 game with social links and such. It is its own thing doing its own stuff that is loosely base after the events of the original game.

A lot of fun!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having played Persona 4 Golden, Persona 3 FES and Persona 5, I have been eagerly anticipating playing P5 Strikers since it was announced. The game doesn't disappoint. Great graphics, streamlined action and possibly the best music in a video game in years. Well worth the purchase.

I love this game
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the preorder and I came with a really nice steel book. I like the game play. It is similar to Dynasty Warriors and Hyrule Warriors. I like the game play and the new bond system. The story is also pretty good and has good voice acting in both English and Japanese.

Dynasty Warriors Persona
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this game is the Dynasty Warriors of persona 5. plays well and story intriguing enough to keep on playing. Also lots of things to do, like building relationships with partners, and leveling up personas to build the ultimate combo.

Play Original Games first for story, still fun.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remember that this game is a sequel, if you’re jumping onto the band wagon and just buying this because people were hyping it up. Prepare to get hit with a lot of context sensitive content in the game as it pretty much picks up only a couple months after the ending of The original P5. So, all these characters you’re interacting with are talking to you with familiarity because you already went through an entire campaign with them. On the other side, if you are coming straight from P5 or P5Royal, the gameplay is significantly different as in it is fast paced and action packed. The Warriors team always does a really nice job of trying to incorporate the source material into their spin off games. So you’ll still run into elemental weaknesses and All out attacks and other little tidbits that are unique to Persona 5. I’d say the game is a lot of fun even if I haven’t finished it yet, it feels like a home coming and I love it.

Persona 5 Strikers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game itself is incredibly fun. I love that the story is a continuation of Persona 5 though I wouldn't recommend getting it without playing Persona 5 first. If you enjoy persona and musou games in general I would definitely recommend it.

Great version
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this on PS4 when it originally came out and I'm actually quite surprised with this Switch release. Yes, there are some graphical difference and more frame dips compared to ps4 on a pro, but that's kind of a given If you prefer the Switch or want it play it on the go, I really recommend this game. It's also one of the better Musou like games because it still feel very Persona l vibe

Great spin-off title on Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great continuation of Persona 5 that runs well on Switch. If you like the typical Warriors-type of games, you’ll enjoy the twist to the formula that this one provides. Makes it almost a fusion of RPG and real-time action.

Great Package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game performs very well on Switch, and looks mostly great though this version looks a little more jaggy due to the lack of anti aliasing. My package arrived on time and in great condition. The game itself is very good itself

Decent game, awesome at a discount
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent game, fun mix between persona and the dynasty games. Had a good time with it but wouldn't play it a 2nd time, unlike the first game which can warrant another playthrough

Musou + Persona !!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love musou styles games, they can get repetitive, but with Personas excellent characters and soundtrack it helps prolong the title. Runs surprising well on the switch and is not entirely a blurry mess.

Definitely not a strike out!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Persona 5 fans get this now!! This game is a much needed continuation of P5; the story is good, the gameplay is fun and all the content we love from P5 is all there, minus the social aspects of the original
