I've followed this product/company for a while and waited (what seemed like forever) for it to work with android devices. I bought it shortly after they released it for android! I had a few issues with it. The food not coming all the way down and my dog needing to reach in the back to get the food. I did sent a video of the issue to customer service and after making a small ramp it doesn't seem to do it as much. I however would recommend this product to anyone. It keeps track of how much our dog eats which is really nice on top of the timed feedings. It is awesome and have 0 complaints!

Exactly why we needed for feeding our animals while on vacation. Scheduled feedings, precise amounts. The only complaint is the phone app that has issues

The feeder itself is perfect. I have two cats and this dispenses exact portions on an app through my iPhone. The only down side is that the cat food I use requires the free ramp that PetNet will send to you for free, but you have to request it first. After I got the ramp, the food slides right out of the feeder into the bowl and I no longer fear it getting jammed out.

This item save me countless mornings of having to get up to feed the cat and if it was three times the price I would've bought it.

We bought this for our cat when we go camping. No need to find someone to feed the cat when we are gone. It was not to bad to set up and now that it is it has been working without any problems since we first turned it on. The back of the unit should be higher to make the food come out easier. The company sent us an email right after we purchased it and said they have a piece that goes under the unit and will be sending it to us for free. Now that the new piece is installed it works great.

Two concerns One, the battery life is short, it can just last few hours if the power is out. Two, I got two cats and they fight for food, it will be perfect if it has a splitter to support two eating together. Otherwise, it is a great product. Remember to register for a free accessory to help the food coming out .

This is a great automatic feeder that you just need to remember to refill when it gets low. I get notifications on my phone and don't have to worry about remembering when to feed my cat. The only downside is that you can only have one feeder per device, so it's not quite the best when you have more than one cat or dog.

We have 3 cats and the Petnet smart feeder has been a life saver. This model did require online registration and needed an adapter that allowed the product to sit at an angle (to allow the food to slide out effectively.) The company shipped this item out for free upon registration of the product. This was a minor design flaw. The only other reason they are getting 3 stars is due to the last fact that you can only control one smart feeder per registered email address. I have 3 feeders and have to log in and out with 3 different emails and passwords within the app to adjust feeding schedules and portion size. The customer service they provided is not great. While they’ve promised multi-unit support, they have failed to deliver 2 years later.

The product is extremely solid. I have not had any technical issues with the product thus far. The biggest issue I have experienced is around design. If the kibble you put into the hopper is not a round shape, the machine may have issues with dispensing and your pet will not be able to get all of the food. Petnet has gone above and beyond to fix this issue. After a couple of days of use, you will receive an email inquiring about how the product is performing and whether or not you need a pedestal to sit the product on. The pedestal is designed with an incline which allows all of the kibble to freely flow into the bowl where your pet can get it. Best part of all... It's free. I don't even recall paying for shipping. This is a prime example of great customer. Enough people had a "negative" experience and the company took action. I would definitely purchase this product again and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to feed their pet effortlessly.

Great Pet Feeder that automatically feeds your pets as per the time set by you. We are going smart in everything so why not the pet feeder!!!

This has been great. Super easy set up, the cat took to it right away. Instead of two meals a day spread way apart because we are gone at work they get fed 3 times more evenly spaced and that has lead to less meows at the door and in the morning begging for food. Hopper holds a good amount of food and can feed your pet automatically for at least a week or more.

I love this product!! It keeps my cat from meowing in my face every morning at 5:30am!! He was scared at first, but he loves it now!!

It is easy to set up and lets you know when you are close to empty on food. I went on vacation for a week filled it up and told it how much to feed my dog a day and it not only fed my dog but let me know that my dog was fed.

Had my doubts at first that it wasn't working as the feeder kept over feeding my cat, but it ended up being that my cat was hitting the manual feed button so we disabled it and it has been working perfectly. My only beef with this is that the entire food serving doesn't reach the bowl as some of it gets stuck where it gets dispensed.

I am often at work or supper busy all day so it's really hard for me to get my pup fed on time. But with this it's a breeze. All I have to do is remember to fill it every so often and I had to leave and send me a notification

The feeder is an amazing purchase for any cat lover. It is sleek and doesn't look out of place. It was easy to set-up and haven't had any problems. Highly recommended.

With being gone during lunch time I really enjoy being able to schedule the food. Wish the food came out a little better but it could be the food I am using. Very worthwhile purchase though!!

I have 2 cats it this is so easy to use. I have it set for 2 meals a day and when it is full, it will last 7-10 days depending on the amount of food dispersed. I can now go away for a few days and not have to worry about finding someone to come in and feed the cats!!!!
