NO MOTION CONTROLS and otherwise pretty average

NO MOTION CONTROLS. Santa got my son a Switch for Christmas so I had him get me this game because I assumed it would have motion sensing controls with the joystick but no. Shame on me for not doing my research but it seemed so obvious that a swinging game on a system with motion sensing controllers would be a natural pairing. Nope. And no plans to support that in future updates, etc. Bummer. My fault but they missed a solid opportunity on this one. Aside from that, and honestly and not bitterly, this game is not much of an improvement over the tiger woods pga I played on my original Xbox back in college, both with graphics and gameplay. A few extra bells and whistles but pretty basic. It’s not bad and my son enjoys it but fell well short on both expectations and potential. There are a lot of much better games to buy for the Switch for an equal or lesser price. Would return/exchange if I could.

This game is practically unplayable on the Switch. The frame rates are too low to be precise when shooting. Courses also take forever to load. Actually, everything takes forever to load. Luckily Best Buy let me exchange it for the Xbox version. I won't have it on the go but it's a MUCH more enjoyable experience. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the game works, it's just a chore playing it on the Switch.

Once you max out everything just put it in a drawer. You won't pick it up again. I went as far as sending an email to 2K. There is absolutely nothing great about this game and if you already purchased the 2019, then this is really a waste of money. Find something else to play until a good golf game comes out.

What a disappointment! No crowds, clunky controls, bad graphics, constant game crashes, and no player development. Worth $5 at most.

    Fun game, very glitchy

The game itself is pretty challenging and fun. However, it's mired by multiple glitches and performance issues for the Nintendo Switch. I've had the game for one day and during game play the game will crash and exit. Reloading the game is very slow and time consuming. Also, occasionally during play, the colors will inverse and green will turn black making it impossible to see anything. it doesn't resolve until the next hole so you have to play your shot in the Upside Down. Hopefully they fix these issues soon!
