Recently got the monitor so its my initial impressions. Idk about burn in or other long term issues yet. So far i have observed great text clarity, amazing colors and next level contrast. The screen has light antiglare coating but the screen doesn’t seem to be hazy, which i really liked. I work from home as dev, and this monitor has potential to be perfect for me. Now my unit has annoying coil whine on light loads which Im sensitive to and i will try to get it replaced and see if next one doesn’t have such problem. Will update my review accordingly

Good monitor but a bit on the cheap side for the housing.

After buying and returning two other supposedly high quality 27” 4K professional IPS monitors (to replace my ancient Dell U2211U) I decided to pay the extra and get this OLED monitor.
Monitor itself is great. Good picture, good colors, good features. The OSD controls take some getting used to but otherwise I had no intentions of returning this, except for a buzzing sound that comes from this monitor on wake up and low intensity scenes.
As another review noted when the monitor is mostly dark or not showing a lot it emits a buzzing sound from the panel itself. It’s very distracting and ruins the experience once noticed.
I reached out to Phillips to see if that sound is expected or if it’s a defect. They had me open a support ticket, submit a ton of information, then they didn’t reply. It’s been 4 days without a word, so I’m returning this monitor before the return window closes.
