I quit buying coffee out because I bought this machine. Makes shop quality espresso in your house. DO NOT forget to empty the grounds bin after use as it's a breeding ground for mold between the grounds, the wetness and the dark. The good news is that you can run that part of it through your dishwasher.

After researching fully automatic espresso machines and reading tons of reviews, I finally settled on the Philips 3200 w/LatteGo. I am *so* glad I went with this machine! Setting up the machine is a piece of cake and took less than 5 minutes from unpacking to making my first espresso. The buttons are easy to read, understand, and use and operation is very simple. I was on the fence about getting the LatteGo version as I do not typically drink coffee with milk however I am SO glad I got the LatteGo version! I never knew how much I enjoyed cappuccinos until now! I HIGHLY recommend getting the LatteGo variant of the 3200. They did an amazing job designing the milk frother. It attaches easily, holds a perfect amount of milk, and is extremely easy to clean. I've been using 49th Parallel Epic Espresso which is pretty amazing coffee by itself. Combined with this machine, the product it produces is out of this world! Cleaning the machine is super fast and easy. I pulled the coffee mechanism out, rinsed it off in the sink for a few seconds, let it dry, then placed it back inside. The same goes for the LatteGo container as I mentioned earlier. It too is a sinch to clean. The *only* thing that shocked me a little is how often I need to refill the water container. It isn't a problem at all and I'm probably just drinking way too much coffee but it seems like I have to fill it up at least once a day. It's simple enough to do though so again, it isn't a problem; I am just making an observation. Overall, LOVE the machine and LOVE the coffee products it makes!! I highly recommend this model and am so thankful I went with this one, especially for the price! **Two thumbs up**

Wow, the machine is incredible. Still breaking it in, but the ease of which it creates a nice cup of cappuccino is amazing. The setup is a little involved, but be sure to follow every step. The unit is a bit loud, but it is somewhat expected, as coffee grinding and milk frothing is involved. Clean-up is easy. Whole milk froths best, and obviously, good beans, good result. Highly recommended!

Ok so most reviews i read on this machine state that it uses a lot of water that you don't realize... this is true, i figured out that it is rinsing the coffee filter inside the machine. As such there will be a fair amount of discarded water. As for coffee, i like a strong coffee, i found that the strongest setting with a middle pour amount works well. I am able to make a 16oz americano in less than 5 minutes machine on to coffee in my mug. The automagic milk frother is a nifty feature and takes a lot of the guess work as to how much to froth, and then the clean-up of the frother present in other machines. Cleanup is simple as advertised. One thing to note is that if it is not clicked in all the way at the bottom it will drip out the bottom as it is frothing into the catch tray. I did adjust the grind a little for my taste, and haven't touched that knob since. The instruction manual is kinda of annoying to use, as they refer to figures that you dont see at the beginning of the book (like ive seen in others) nor do they tell you where the figures are... it turns out they are at the end of the book folded on the inside back cover. I have made all of the types of coffee this machine will make. I know that i am not the best barista in the world. This machine has been a wonderful addition to my house. In my family we spent quite a bit at coffee shops. I've found that i can replicate them (frozen blended drinks aside) at home with surprisingly good results. Very happy with this purchase.

The machine is a little loud during normal coffee, expresso making and louder during cappuccino making. However, this is a product of pushing high pressure steam and/or water through milk and ground coffee beans. The water reservoir is a good size as well as the spent coffee buck bin and easy to change. The milk frother design is genius. It works great and cleans very easily. It makes the machine EXTRA worth it. The toughest part is getting the machine dialed in which could take some time. You should watch the video to help set it up, which is not to hard but it is not common sense. There are also 1 or 2 things you want to avoid like don't adjust the bean grinder while not grinding and not by more than 1 click at a time...I think that was it but check the directions for the pitfall. I read a lot of reviews and people complain about ridiculous stuff or they have done something wrong. The machine is not cheap but for all you get, it is well worth it and much cheaper than the fancy machines which are 2 or 3 times the cost. Yes, there is a lot of plastic. The buttons are more of a slight pressure and maybe register heat from your fingers. I have no issues like some people complained about. Well, enjoy.

This is an amazing expreso machine! I make coofee, expresos, lates and cappuccinos on the daily basis. There isn't a big difference between a cappuccino and a late, other than the amount of milk. Cappuccino could have more froth.

I had a Saeco Vienna semi-automatic for over 15 years and decided to look into a fully automatic unit. The 3200 checks all the boxes. Fully adjustable drink strength and size, several different types of drinks, easy to clean, large water reservoir and bean holder, one-time ground coffee option, and the adjustable coffee dispenser handles almost any sized cup/mug. I was hesitant on the frother but what a surprise...it works!! Really clever system. The only small negative would be that there is no cycle for just frothing. Some people have reviewed that the instructions were confusing and difficult to set up...I may have had the advantage of having my Saeco (which Philips bought) but if you just have patience and do trial and error with the adjustments you will not be disappointed. For the money this does the same, if not more, than units that are twice the cost.

We're VERY pleased with this machine, so far it works great with no issues at all not even when we use beans that other reviews have warned not to use and say they can get stuck but have worked great for us and never get stuck. We think it makes great coffee and espresso drinks with really nice foam. It's super easy to use we never even read the directions and have made a variety of espresso drinks with ease. Another positive mention is the milk frother, it's SO EASY to use and not messy at all and there's no major clean up like compared with other machines we've either tried out and returned or owned in the past, like our previous built in machine that we owned at our old house it was major work to clean up the milk frother after every use and it cost triple what this machine cost.

I've been wanting a new espresso machine for awhile. With a newborn and working at home, I just don't have time to manually make an espresso and froth milk in the morning. I can eat or make coffee, never have time for both. So when I came across this machine, I was interested but put off by the price. After a few weeks of debating and a ton of research, I decided to purchase this and I am SO glad I did! It saves me so much time and I can make a coffee in less than 5 minutes. The milk container is so convenient, I just fill it full and put whatever is left back in the fridge for later. I will say there's a slight learning curve, even though it is fully automatic. It's really just trial and error until you find out your preferred settings. It has the ability to use pre ground coffee, which is awesome for decaf. Works just as well. When you love coffee as much as I do and have zero time to make one manually...this is a necessity.

Love it, It is like having your own coffee shop in your kitchen. You will occasionally have to replace the rubber orange but it's a very simple thing, finding them online is the tough part. Wish Best Buy carried them as a maintenance part.

From an overly picky coffee drinker, this was worth the money. I have always been way to picky about my coffee and I wanted to write a review stating I am impressed with this machine. If you have the money and take coffee seriously then this is your machine.

Easy to use, intuitive and great coffee! Two minor cons would be the size of the water reservoir and the froth of the milf with the lattes. Have only had it for 3 weeks, so still playing with milk combinations.

    Amazing Espresso Maker

Prior to this, we have had a couple units that were manual based espresso makers, grind separately, tamp down, and brew, use the wand to froth the milk. Then we discovered the Delonghi Magnifica, and went through two of those units over a 10 year span. After our second unit died, we looked for something more automatic, that could make the whole latte in one shot. Enter the Philips Lattego. I am very impressed with it. It's simple to use, you put the beans in the top, water reservoir off to the right, keep those topped off and the waste bin empty, fill the milk carafe as needed. Not much else to it. It makes excellent cappuccino's with just the right amount of foam, and macchiato lattes that use the whole carafe of milk. I really have nothing negative to say about it. Just wish it held more beans, had a larger waste bin, and held more milk, just so I could do more of them at a time...
