Love it, decent price although I wish it was a bit thinner

Good picture easy set up. Needed to buy new technology

I went from a rear projection LCD DLP tv to this and the picture upgrade is amazing. I have 2 skylights in my living room and the tv is at a 45 degree angle to a sunroom filled with windows. It made watching TV during the day on my old TV next to impossible. Now I can watch dark movies in the daytime with out having to make any adjustments. Tv does the brightness adjustment for me. Tv has more hook ups than I need (4 HDMI). I love that I can stream anything off my PC to the TV with out any other setup other than connecting the TV to the internet and downloading software on my PC. There is a lag but I am able to stream 1080p home videos and pictures very easily. May not be the best TV for a man cave but for a brightly lit living room I couldn't find better for under $1000.

THE PICTURE COLOUR IS BLAND. NO GREAT COLOUR AS WITH MY OTHER FLAT SCREEN T.V.'S. IF NOT CORRECTED , I WILL RETURN IT. A GOOD BUY DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK OUT.

This is a great tv at a great price. Best Buy price matched for $799.99. The MediaConnect software is terrific for watching shows, movies or videos that are streaming on your PC. It works like a second monitor. Set up is very easy but I had to do a manual set up to connect my router because it's password protected. The only thing that disappointed me was information you get from pressing the info button. You get the show name, channel and a bunch of useless data. I only use an antenna and I am use to getting show descriptions and a whole days program schedule with my tv's that use a digital converter box. My other tv with a digital tuner built in is the same way. I guess they assume everyone uses a cable or satellite service. I highly recommend this tv though.

This is the 5th HDTV I have bought over the past 5 years. It has the best picture of them all and it isn't even close. It has a better picture than the 52" LCD Sony I bought 2 years ago. That Sony was 1080p/120hz too and twice the price, but all TV's have gone down in price in that time frame. The only two negative points are the sound quality and color customization. It kind of sounds like the TV is in a tin can. You'll want to hook it up to a speaker system, but note there is no optical cable input if you have an older receiver like mine you'll need either a digital audio cable or a receiver with HDMI inputs. The color customization is more difficult to navigate compared to some of my other TV's. Overall a really good buy and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on buying this one. There are similar size TV's in different brands around the same price, but my research of customer reviews of all those other brands pointed me to buying this particular TV. If you are looking for a new bigger screen and this is in your budget, this is one you want.

We were looking to replace our ancient 57" RPTV and stumbled on this 55" TV and for the price felt it was a great deal. Picture quality is fantastic, lots of nice features, and what little I've used them, the internal speakers sound pretty good to (we use a surround sound system for audio). Overall we are happy with the TV and it's nice having more space int he living room now!

I love the picture and the ease of use. connects to the internet with no effort streaming movies is great!!!

Recently purchased this Philips, very happy with this model. For its price, as I am an average person and not extremely technologically savvy, I'd say the quality is great. I am happy with the picture overall and love that it is so simple to have the internet handy at all times. Excellent size for a medium size room and unlike some other tvs out there has a great sound. Even though there are many other tvs available with other options and higher prices and ultra thin I highly recommend to anyone not looking to spend a fortune at the moment.

I love my new tv, the first time I watched a blue-ray movie I was blown away. The picture was incredible. The price was even better. I feel like I am at the movies now in my own home, It is awesome!!!!

This is a really good tv for the money. It has all the necessary features and is still moderately priced.

Would definitely get another Phillips. picture quality is as good as the Ssmsung it replaced, but at less than half the cost.

This is a nice TV for the price and the extras are great! Make sure you have a good set of HDMI cables when hooking TV up. But over all this was a steal for me and I like the look and style!

I bought this on a deal of the day for $699. Great price for smart tv of this size. The colors were lackluster and was considering returning on that basis. But then the screen just went on the fritz - all sorts of pixel lines going up/down and right/left. Didn't have a chance to connect to my network. Return couldn't have been easier through Best Buy. They picked it up for free and it was credited right back to my account. Bought a Samsung LED tv and much happier.

Its a great tv it has netflix hulu yahoo etc. it makes it convient!

Nice TV with smart capabilities and feature for the price. Bought it on sale for 649. Very satisfied.

TV has really good picture. But after a week, that picture went away and all I have is sound. Placed a service call to Philips, did the whole "unplug and let it sit for a minute" routine, picture came back for about 2 minutes and then went away again. Tomorrow I learn how long it will be before the shop I was referred to can make it out to look at it...so NO tv until then
