Almost Excellent Air Fryer, One Serious Flaw

The exterior stays cool enough to touch even during high temperature cooking, it's large enough to cook for four easily, it cooks very evenly, and everything that gets dirty goes into the dishwasher. It is large, but takes up a reasonable amount of space on the counter. I liked the idea of 'analog' controls (set the temperature you want, turn the timer knob to the minutes to cook, done). Simple, easy, peasy. Well, almost. Turn the timer knob too far, say 30 min. instead of 20, and your only option is to either wait 10 min or pull the food drawer out with 10 min left. There is no other way to turn the unit off, or to reduce the time to cook, short of unplugging the unit. Unplugging the unit appears to stop the timer as well, so any time is left for the next cooking session. Sigh... This is a safety issue as well as an inconvenience and, I think, a serious design flaw. I might be willing to forgive this in a unit costing (much) less, but considering the relatively small difference in price I would opt for the digital version of the Philips Airfryer. Too bad because it did an otherwise good job.
