The good: slick looking, extract juice from your favorite fruits and vegetables. The bad: price so high (4 star)

The Philips Avance Juice Extractor is amazing. Assembly is simple and the device is easy to use. Performance: I have very impressed with the power of the Phillips Avance Juicer. Everything I've added to the juicer (including bananas, kale, spinach, carrots, nuts) has turned out wonderfully. Style: I particularly appreciate the style of the Phillips Avance. It looks great in the kitchen, and goes great with my other appliances. The sleek design is not only awesome to look at, but it makes handling the appliance easier too. Maintenance: Cleaning the Phillips Avance is a breeze. Within minutes the entire unit can be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled, ready for use. The LED indicator lets you know if something is not attached properly.

Recently purchased this Phillips advance juice masticator. I really like it though a little slower process than my regular juicer. But the flavor in this process is superb and very efficient meaning”most juice is extracted leaving dry pulp”.Best of all it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. I recommend this product.

I love this juicer just not the time it takes to make it, I just can't see taking a star or two for that reason though. I did however take a star off for the mess, ready below. First off the manual is right up there with put together furniture manuals, horrible. It's not really needed anyway as the unit is pretty straight forward and simple to use. Super sleek, sold and compact makes this a great addition to our small appliances. Clean up is simple and easy so far. I have ran about four different concoctions through it and all have cleaned up easily. The juice recipe book that's included has some great ideas and I tried two of them, we loved them both. Plan for spending about 30 minutes or more in prep and juicing before you get to enjoy the fruit of your labor. Most things need to be cut up pretty good to fit into the fill slot and not much fits in there so it is time consuming. Not very noisy either. My biggest and really only complaint was the mess it makes on the counter and surrounding area (yourself and the floor), it would be nice to come with something better to collect the juice into, maybe with some type of chute or higher to the spout. But other than that this baby pulverizes whatever you put in it. Does a great job getting every last drop out.

    My first juicer

As far as juicers go, I am a newbie. Knowing that my wife has been trying to convince me to juice for a year now, I decided to try this out. I must say it is pretty impressive. It is pretty easy to put together and even easier to clean. We tried a variety of fruits and veggies and the thing I noticed the most is that there were no strings, pulp or residue in the glass after mixing the fruit. I expected there to be something, but it was all captured in the bin below the juicer. It is also surprisingly quiet for a juicer in my opinion and pretty easy to use. It even comes with a small pitcher that can be used to store your concoctions in. It also came with a recipe book, but most of the fun was just throwing different things in the juicer just to see what it would taste like. I must admit, I liked our beet, carrot, orange, ginger and honey mixture the best. Didnt sound great when we were doing it, but I've had worse. All in all, i think this juicer is very well built, easy to use and quite fun. The only thing I would be apprehensive about is the price, but as i said, I'm new to juicing so maybe this is in line with a quality machine. I gave it four stars because of the price, but other than that I would recommend it.

This is my first juicer. I wish the feeding tube was alot wider b/c i have to cut the fruit/veggies down but other than that i love it. It was tricky at first to get it going b/c if the food container isnt positioned correctly the juicer will not turn on. I had to youtube that.

From the first time I used this thing, I felt like I had paid too much for it. It does have a nice, attractive, space saving, sleek design, but it’s just ok as far as juicing goes. I don’t like that you have to hold the self cleaning button while it’s working, and it only works for a few seconds before automatically stopping on its own, so if u want to do that longer, you have to keep letting go, pressing and holding again for the few seconds it works until you’re satisfied. It is cute, but I’m mad I waited too long to return it. Definitely not worth $300, it should be half that at best.

I have had the jucier for about two days, I like the small footprint and the easy cleanup. Setup was a breeze though the easy setup diagram is a bit confusing. The unit has an LED to indicate if assembled correctly and will not even work if not assembled correctly. The jucier does a decent to above average job on what it has suppose to do but entails some extra effort on your part. The items to be jucied must be cut into small enough size to be worked on by the jucier. The entry chute is also small, so takes multiple times to put stuff in to get sufficient juice production. I think it is best for a single person or couple as the container for juice is not very large and so seems better suited for a small family. My other jucier's container is much larger but takes up a much larger counter space and much more difficult to cleanup. I can clean up the unit in under 3-5 minutes, maybe less if I really try. I take a star off because as others said even the precut store bought fruits and vegetables have to be cut smaller to FIT in the unit's entry chuteI also felt some spray from the point of entry as I pushed the fruit into the machine as it began masticating the items. I think the small footprint is great for those with limited kitchen space but it does take longer to get sufficient juice due to this size.

Efficient Juicing and Easy Clean Up

This juicer is efficient and easy to use. Overall, I like using it and it seems like a good value for the price. Here are the pros and cons that I have found by using the juicer. Pros. First of all, it is easy to use. It takes a few minutes to figure out how everything fits together but once you get used to it you'll realize that the design is made for easy cleaning. Once assembled, it's as easy as chopping up some fruit or vegetables and putting them in the juicer. Another nice thing about this unit is that it is very compact. It's thin design is easy to store and doesn't take up a lot of precious kitchen space. Overall, it is high quality, sleek and sturdy. Perhaps the most important aspect of the juicer is that it works well! Although I am always shocked at how little juice you get from most fruits and vegetables, the juicer seems to extract almost all of it. The non-juice portion collects below the juicer and you can see and feel that it is dry, meaning that most of the juice is extracted. I tried carrots, celery and apples. They all worked well but what I noticed about the apples is that the juice varies depending on the type of apple. I used a softer apple and the juice was like apple sauce. I then used a crisper apple and it was much more like an apple cider (very juicy). Cons. The only negative about this juicer is that it doesn't process a lot of volume. The feeding tube is very small and fruits and vegetables need to be chopped into fine pieces in order to process. While this isn't a big deal if you are making drinks, it just means that it will take a long time to process large quantities (like when I harvest my garden). I think tomatoes will work great but for the harder fruit that needs to be cut up and de-cored it could take a lot longer. I should also note that, while this juicer cannot process a large volume quickly, it is worth it for the tradeoff between its size. Overall, the juicer is high quality and well designed. It is super easy to clean so you can use it for small quantities or daily without having to worry about a lot of cleanup. It literally rinses clean in less than a minute.

I have had this juicer for a few weeks now. I have made juice from quite a variety of fruits, and am excited every time I use it. It really is pretty slim and slides anywhere on the counter or in a cabinet. It looks cool and the moving pieces are really heavy duty. The only reason for 4 over 5 stars is the price.
