So, if you're looking at this, you've already joined the thousands of us who have gone down the Hue Light rabbit hole and need to expand your Illuminated domain. The extension is incredibly easy to install, simply plug it into the end of an existing Hue Lightstrip Plus or join it to a cut strip with the included attachment device. The strips themselves put out an enormous amount of light for their size. I was skeptical at first while running them around a bookshelf but once I put them along the top of the wall, the whole room lit up. The app makes it easy to change the colors, turn them on and off, and automate with Alexa, Google Home, or Siri/Homekit.

So easy to use and set up using the Hue ap - wonderful product with good bright colors. A definite purchase if you're in the Hue ecosphere. I have multiple hue bulbs and outdoor lights that I'm super happy with. As with many connected devices, make sure you have the appropriate bridge to make sure this device will work with your equipment.

These aren’t cheap but the quality is exceptional. I have a bunch of hue lights throughout my house and added this behind some built ins I put around the beer fridge in the man-cave. Makes the space look so much cooler.

We lined this up behind our TV stand facing upwards so that we can have a nice aura background while watching. Totally just a nice to have for our TV living room purposes. The Philips Hue app allows you to change the light colors and brightness to just about anything really. Can be super dim or super light. The super bright setting is good but it won't replace your living room lamp. The brightness of the "high setting" will depend on how hidden in the back your light strip is. Overall I think it's great. Note: For first time buyers you will need the Hue Bridge so that you can sync your Philips Hue Lights to your wifi network and thus be able to control it using your phone or any other virtual assistants (i.e. Google Home, Alexa, etc).

The Philip's Hue Light Strips are the perfect ambiant lighting for longer areas like the backs of couches, shelving, stairways and so on. Perfect combination with other Hue products like bulbs and outdoor lighting

These Hue LED smart light strips are being used to ingeniously accentuate the built-in shelves of my entertainment system. Typical Philips Hue flawless performance. One more great addition to my vast Hue smart light collection!

I was trying to like the other Apple HomeKit lights but this is by far king. Do you know why it so pricey? Cause it’s worth it.
