Difficult to set up initially. Had issues getting it to connect to the same WIFI as the Hue Bridge. Had to reset and run through set up multiple times to get it to finally detect / connect to my main Wi-Fi. I wanted to stick with Philips Hue as I have multiple lights / set up already. However, for the price of the Play Sync Box, and lights, the set up and ease of use should be easier.

Works wonderful! Honestly if you want to spend the money on something I'd go with hue, if not I'd say go with the govee

The device does what it should, although it is extremely overpriced. It also does not work with a TV Os. Must have a device connected into it.

I’ve wanted this for some time but wasn’t ready to pay full price. The idea of having my hue lights sync with my TV was very appealing and I’m glad I found this refurbished unit. Works great!

Box was beat up but it’s a used unit so I’m not surprised. Box itself looks used but it performs how it’s supposed to and I love that about it. And buying used I was able to save $100 off msrp. Definitely a good buy

The Hur Sync box is incredible! It takes the home theater experience to a level that theaters don’t offer. It enhances home theater so much more than expected. The one star reduction is because it’s a little complicated to get it to work and Dolby Vision is hit and miss on working.

Does what it says and easy to set up. Just a little pricey.

Once you set up your area that you want to utilize this in it is awesome. I just need to figure out how to sync my music to this and life can be complete.

Omg I love the Philips hue sync box. I use it for my 75 inch tv. I have 4 light bars on the back and I am amazed at how awesome my movies shows and gaming look. The setup was easy and I even have it connected to my Alex. I have recommended this product to my friends and family. AWESOME!!

This is my second Sync Box and it seems to work just as well as the NIB I originally bought. Received in very good shape from what I could tell. All of the parts that I needed were in the box the only difference is the sticker on the box that said refurb. I can't seem to get Dolby Vision to work but I'm not sure if it's the refurbed nature of the box or just the Sync system itself. The New In Box one I bought has always had hiccups as well so I just think this is a Philips item that isn't fully functional or realized just yet. I'm really hoping they come out with a second version that's worked out all the kinks because when it works, it really is a nice addition to movie watching or playing video games but there are a lot of issues with it that you never know what you're gonna run into when you boot up your TV.

Great buy! Is fairly easy to set up with all the right comments with the Phillips lights. Makes gaming and watching movies much cooler!

Unfortunately, I got a bigger TV. So I am looking for another 65 inch to put this on. I think it works wonderful with our X-Box. I’ve only used it a little bit for movies, but it was exceptional.

I've tried it with PS4, TV Boxes (Apps), Chromecast, Seems to be working really good. Though I do not recommend it using it all the time, because it might just be too much for your eyes sometimes. I have 4 strips and 3 bulbs for the entertainment area, but I 've added a second switch that activates the area and only then all the lights turn on otherwise my regular living room switch only turns on 1 strip and the 3 bulbs, which is much easier on the eye and also for the bill. Setting it up was fairly easy for me, just one thing to point out is, do not let your screen lock when it's doing the initial software update or else you'll have start all over again. But the software is really good for customizations, I've used the redundant buttons on my TV remote to assign functions for the Sync Box and works like magic for me.

Can’t seem to get it to stay connected and have had to start over 5 times. Every time I get it working, something causes it to reset and not respond

I love this and I am glad I was able to get one even if it’s refurbished it works great.

Great product. Saved money buying a Best Buy referb and haven’t had any issues at all. The only thing I can say negatively is that it doesn’t auto select input when I’m not using the sync. Otherwise really amazing. Immersive lighting is so cool.

Love the effects when it works. Disconnects randomly

Hooked it up within 20 minutes , so far so good , bought it @ $150 as open box , worth it , Great Philips Hue quality product at a decent price.

Cool little novelty device. I had some difficulty setting it up initially, but once we figured out the issue on the network, it’s working great.

Works flawlessly. Easy setup, huge game changer! Right now using two light bars behind tv until my ambient light strip is delivered. The effect is still amazing. Much better then our old static LED lights.
