Expectations

I had to send it back because it refused to connect to my internet. When the price is right I'm hoping to buy a new one instead of refurbished because I've lost trust in the refurbished products and working as intended.

Overpriced and Overhyped

At times, the device would start the sync when I didn’t want it to, and it was so difficult to switch HDMI inputs.

Bunch of lies

They should just call it open box. I bought one and it has malfunctioned ever since. You may save those $50 bucks but you just lose on the repairs for something they havent fixed in the first place. Just get a new one

Best Buy Refurbished is Rubbish!!!

This review is specific to Geek Squad Refurbished Hue Sync Box. Best Buy certified claims they take extra care to ensure they do a thorough job to inspect and test it. Malarkey! The plug didn’t even fit into the unit. There is a zero percent chance they looked at it, let alone tested it.

Terrible

This product is absoluetly terrible, sync box has 4 hdmi ports that go in and one hdmi out. I have Xfinity cable in hdmi 1 and dvd in hdmi 2, when I turn on the dvd player it switches ports automatically but my cable box stays running so the sync box DOES NOT SWITCH back to watch cable, have to unplug hdmi cord then plug it back in so it switches back to hdmi 1. It would be easy if the app would have switch to different hdmi port but for $500 sync/hub/3playlightbar This is garbage!!! Taking it all back! .
