Great bulb if you are in the ecosystem

There is an operating temp range that you have to pay attention to so it might not work in every environment/location. If you're looking for voice controls or something along those lines without the color changing madness, getting smart switches is cheaper than individual smart bulbs.

Get the lights already

I got these on Woot, and expanded. This is a blessing. I have the colored lights and I downloaded an app that makes my house a disco. Oh and when we are gone, now that covid is here, we are never gone, but should we be gone again, I can schedule when my lights are on. These things are bad a** get them now.

Philips quality evident again

Great smart light

Easy to install and setup with the Phillips app. Third party apps add more functionality and optional accessories like switches and motion sensors help you get the most out of the bulb. I use them in conjunction with both Google home and Alexa and I can't get enough. Currently running 20+ lights and counting.

We use them for auto turn on in early morning so not to wake family with bright lights throughout the house because the Hue has dimmable capability as well as color settings of soft lighting that we like to use in the auto setting. Great for throughout the house.

You can set schedules, control your lights remotely, and set conditional sequences. Setting up voice commands makes this even more amazing. While costly, these lights have been reliable and integrate very well with other smart home devices
