I picked this up while on sale and got a second hub. Now i have two hubs to separate the lighting control to zone. I bought this to go with the amazon echo. You can control these lights out of the box, but I wrote my own Alexa skill to extend the control

Easy setup, does exactly what it says. 10 minutes to get it all working

This was so easy to set up and use. I am not technologically savy and it was a no brainer. I am using it as a light timer while we are away and it works great. I can control the lights remotely also. I will be purchasing more Hue products to expand

Super easy to set up love being able to control everything from my phone. I also enjoy being able to dim them and change the color depending on if we are having a romantic dinner, watching tv, cleaning or reading a book.

I like techy gadgets so I'd had my eye on the hue bulbs for a while but was hesitant due to cost. When they went on sale for Black Friday I decided to buy it and so started the addiction! I love these! I've since replaced all my lamp bulbs with hue bulbs (a combination of regular white and the white ambiance). I love the convenience factor of controlling them via my phone or alexa. I have them scheduled to come on around sunset so that my doggies aren't in the dark but I don't have to waste electricity leaving lights on all day. This set it great if you can get it on sale. I ended up getting one of these for my parents and for my best friend after they saw my set and "just had to have a set" for themselves!

My wife and I tried all sorts of light bulbs, dim and bright to see how we can adapt to our new babies needs. The bright ones bothered her and the dim ones.. well were too dim and we couldn't see our child that well. We decided to get the hue kit bc we wanted an adaptive light to our needs. Bright when the baby was awake and stimulated and we are able to dim the light just enough to see her when we are all asleep. To our amazement, there are different hue settings to choose from and it really sets the tone in our rooms. Also you can put the bulb in any light socket which is nice for we thought we had to purchase a super expensive smart lamp or something, but rest assured that's not the case! Very happy with the product!

I purchased this thinking it would be a bright white dimmable light but, it is much more yellow in tone and it is not a good light for reading. It isn't as bright as expected, and the remote only dims it further. I have to use the app on my phone to get to the maximum whitish light so that I can read. I'm planning to connect it to Alexa and will see if that makes it any easier to control.

Bought to pair with our new Google Home for home automation features. Is it really worth the money? Maybe not. But I like my techie toys. :) Have bought not only this set, but a few other bulbs for around the house. Set up some programs to turn on some lights for a few hours in the evening when we were travelling for the holidays. The ambiance lights allow you to change the temperature of the white color. If you don't care about that, can get by with the basic white. We have a few of those as well. We wanted a bit less yellow in our kitchen than the basic white provides. Definitely a cool factor to them!

This product is great! The setup was very easy and the app is very user friendly. The bulbs work perfectly when dimming and changing their settings

The GEN II Hue Lights are really great. The colors are vibrant and they are so easy to use. You really don't need a light switch once you have smart lights!

I really like the interface and the ability to control the lights remotely on my iPhone. I can even set programs for the lights to turn on randomly and use it with a IF recipe (such as turn on my hallway entry light when my Ring doorbell senses motion).

Pricey very pricey, but a lot of fun to play with and easy to set up. Easy to set up schedules for when you're either not at home or on a daily basis. Set up instructions are a little lacking must be somewhat intuitive.

This is very convenient and extremely easy to install.

I bough this kit and love the lights. Easy to setup via tha App and love the ability to change the mood color. Great product.

Able to dimmed the lights to my liking!! Wow, really impressive! Able to turn them on and off, while traveling! Peace of mind!!

The ambiance is a nice touch but it's really the switch that makes this a great product. The switch is easy to mount and detaches so you can keep the switch with you. Great for watching movies and turning off and on the light when the movie starts and finishes. Very nice for the bedroom especially if reading a book. You can take the switch with you and turn off the lights quickly from your bed. The bridge is so much better quality than the first edition

Nothing too complicated about the light or getting it up and running. Seems to work well and I like how I can chance the tone from a white LED feel to a warm old school feel

If you don't need colored bulbs (or like me you just refuse to pay $40 for a bulb even on sale) then this is a great starter kit. I love the dimmer switch I think no hue room is complete without one, even if you have Alexa or some other voice assistant in the room. Sometimes you just want to hit a switch. The bulbs are quick to install and easy to use, just like all other hue products.
