Moved into a new house installed this for the porch and installed with no issues and hub reacts to the front when it’s located in the back of the house. Now I can theme color my porch for the holidays. Also can put a timer on it as well as motion so I can have it at half brightness at night and then full brightness when motion is detected.

These look so much better than trying to put one of the A19 or BR30 bulbs into a recessed can. I have a room where I tried it and although ok, these new flush mount Philips bulbs give the look you want with recessed lighting. They could not be any easier to put in. It was super-simple to do! I will definitely be getting more of these.

Easy to install when following instructions. I like the brackets it uses over the traditional squeeze clips it uses to hold it in box. Paired fine to hue bridge. Siri works well with it. Lens is slightly recessed from bezel, gives it a premium, seamless look. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

If you are like me, my existing recessed downlight was a direct wire LED. So, I had to cut the screw in socket plug off and direct wire it. Then, because of its larger depth size, I had to take out the existing light housing for it to fit. The width was also larger than the preexisting hole cut out in the vinyl soffet. So, I cut the hole in the vinyl out larger. I was affraid the adjustable wings were not going to hold the light tight enough against the vinyl because the wings are not that close to the outer frame that sits flush with the ceiling. I installed the light on the front porch outside, so I wanted it to not be too loose to reduce mosture entry. Luckily after turning the light in the direction indicated on the instruction sheet, it locked into place. Even with the effort, I am very happy with the product. I already am a Hue user. I especially like the ability to set colors to match my holiday decorations outside based on app automation and geofensing so the light comes on when I pull up to the house, making it easier to see when walking up to the front door. I am also a Nest doorbell user, so I wished that they communicated with one another so when the Nest video doorbell picks someone up, the Hue light would come on and make the area more visible. As a work around, I just set up automation, so the light is on for a period of time after dark to help delivery personel see when dropping off packages at the door.

Love our new lights. It creates a great ambience over our fireplace. They were easy to install and setup on the app. Only wish there was a login for the Bluetooth app so multiple phones can control them. Probably different with the bridge.

If you want smart lighting the Philips system is one of the best. The lights paired to the hub and have worked well ever since. The kit cleanly replaces a pot or downlight bulb and it includes everything that is needed. The biggest con with this system is that it's proprietary and you pay up for it. But it works. You will need a Philips Hue hub for these to work correctly. I used 4 of these in a room and with the app they work well for background color lighting as well as white overhead. I have had no problems with them dropping off the system either.

My wife loves these. Now she can set the kitchen to match the rest of our home. They are sleek and looked a lot better then our old canned lights. Install was less then a minute per light.

Light works great and the colors are endless. My only complaint is the lights are hard to find (availability) and they are on the expensive side. Other than that, they work great and they update my house.

Finally Hue comes in colors for the can lights. Fits 5 to 6 inch perfect. Works great and changes colors flawless. Glad BB has them in stock to ship. Works with alexa or the hue app.

Great addition to my family room. Very easy to install and setup. Does require a Philips bridge to use in your home. Tons of color options, solid construction, and easy to use.

Phillips is well known for quality products and this recessed light is not the exception. The installation is simple and the variety of the colors is just great.

These are some of the best recessed lights I've used. When linking these to a bridge it's like creating your own theater at home. easy installation a bonus. Would give 5 stars if they would stay in stock so I can outfit the rest of my home

A great light that sits flush. We also have the flood lamp style and these work great in concert with those bulls. Very easy to install and the adapter is easy to affix. The new HUE update to the app makes using the lights a breeze. Being able to set a schedule is great while on vacation or to get one up and ready in the morning.
