2 years later still working as advertised in my kitchen with lots of use

I love Philips Hue stuff. I am a programmer and wanted to be able to have local network control over my smart lights via an open API as well as be able to do fast refresh rate for custom animations. Hue supports these things. This bulb is bright and the colors it produces are vivid and pure with no apparent hotspots where the individual color channels are mixing. The tunable white is great as well. Unfortunately, it costs 3-4 times what a comparable Philips Wiz bulb costs, though those don't have as nice of an API or an Entertainment Mode. I have the same size Wiz bulb as well and the brightness is similar, color mixing is still pretty good, but it cost a lot less. It makes Hue a hard sell unless you care about the Hue ecosystem or the Entertainment Mode.

I started using Hue back in 2014 and their products and support have been great! We had a small issue with a few A19s and HUE Support quickly sent replacements as it was within the 3-year warranty. I briefly tried another brand and was quickly disappointed in the lack of features and buggy applications. I would hand down recommend spending the little extra money on Hue products. you will not regret it.

I have 25 of these BR30 bulbs throughout my house and in all my main living areas. They are so freaking awesome I cannot speak highly enough of them. Philips has nailed the smart light niche. You want dimmable lights? Done. You want any color combination you can think of? Done. You want to turn your house into a dance club and have your lights sync to lights? Strobe even? Done. So easy to use. Only knock is the cost.

Love the Hue bulbs. Lights are easy to use and schemes are superior to all others. Besides color options love switching between whites for times when wanting soft glow versus bright white for a project. Have swapped out every bulb in house for Hue and have never looked back.

Hue products are a little above the competition as price goes, but way above as performance goes. Effortless setup, fail-proof operation, easy scenes through what’s by far the best app in the category. I wish these were a little brighter, but I still give them 5 stars.

I have pretty much changed up my whole home to light up using these bulbs. They are highly addictive in how they can change the ambiance. The only downside is that there is a lag in terms of the time it takes to operate. Perhaps Philips can come out with a controller dedicated to these lights.

I owned a lot of Philips hue bulbs. I love this bulbs as I am able to to change the color of my light with just my cellphone. I also like Philips hue bulbs as I can use them with Google assist. Philips hue has meet my expectations in quality and Price. They are very easy to install as always. I will continue to buy philips hue products as I know they will last forever.

Hue is a great system because you can grow the number of bulbs you have pretty easily, but get ready to shell out some major coin to do so. I used this in a room where I wanted to be able to have fun painting with light, and it definitely did the trick. I just wish I could outfit a room for less than $200.

I've been waiting to switch over to smart bulbs in my house due to the cost and finally decided to slowly upgrade. In my opinion, these are the best smart bulbs available and are very easy to use. They are a bit pricey, but otherwise work really well.

Easy setup as it is with all the Philips HUE products I have purchased. Easy to use via verbal commands with my Nest Audio (HEY GOOGLE)...easy to use with my phone (turn on off, change colors, dim) It's easy setup and easy to use and should last a long time!

I’ve bought several of these. I did have to return one once, and that was because it was making a noise. Other than that, I love their ease and I can control them from anywhere and set them to routines. Best lights on the market!

These bulbs look just like my regular recessed lighting. Its awesome to be able to turn off specific lights individually. They setup super quick with the hue app and connect to Alexa no problem. A bit on the expensive end but worth it.

Have these lights in our living room and they work great! Used this in the finished attic space (track light) to add additional lighting and works well. Other than the fact that Philips Hue is expensive, the products work well.

I have a few recessed lights in the house and this was the first Hue bulb we purchased for them. We have about 10 other Hue bulbs plus the Hue Play lights. They are easy to work with but are a bit expensive. I’m always on the lookout for a good deal on these bulbs.

These are great! They were so easy to install that it took under a minute to connect then to my smart home. It's great to switch the colors and creat ambiance. Very good variation from bright to dim, and good color saturation.

Very easy to install ( just screw in bulb ) and control with hue app on phone or set up with Alexa or Google for voice control. Unlimited color settings or standard light bulb output. Really changes the mood of the room depending on color choice.
