I bought these to replace flood lights during the warmer months. The fixture I use does provide some cover but I feel like I would be pressing my luck leaving these outside in the winter months. I plan on swapping them out during that time. My only complaint is that they are not officially rated for outdoor weather. So far they held up throughout the spring and summer but I would not advise leaving them outside in the harsher elements unless you are willing to take the chance.

These lights are great way to improve the mood / theme in any room. They don't quite fit recessed cans which take BR40 lights but Philips doesn't make them in that size and these work OK. Highly recommend Philips Hue. Bridge must be purchased separately for these to work.

These bulbs have worked as described. They are not cheap but are worth the price if you like to set up the ambience you want. Having Bluetooth available along with using a Hub. My Alexa can also control them. I have read that some think they are not bright enough but I am satisfied with the lumens.

We got this immediately following the purchase of a light strip for tv back lighting. We have 4 of these in our living room ceiling cans. They are great for working from home. Nice evening glowing light, colorful dance parties, mood lighting and theater lighting.

The Phillips Hue White and Color Ambiance BR30 LED light bulbs performed perfectly as anticipated and I couldn't be more pleased with this product by every measure. The Smart-bulb functionality and adjustable time and light glow settings make this an outstanding product.

The Phillips Hue Bulbs are a great addition to your smart devices! When you have multiples of these, you can assign them into groups or keep them individual. Great way to make your home even more festive for the Holidays and create ambiance with the 100s of colors to choose from!

I love these items within the hue network. If you're not planning on getting into the ecosystem I wouldn't suggest it. There are better cheaper alternatives, but if you're planning on going in on the hue eco system I strongly suggest them if they fit.

I have been using these bulbs for several years now. I believe these are the Gen2 bulbs, which have a slightly different color than the Gen1 bulbs. I would recommend using only the same generation bulbs in each room. For example, I have 4 Gen1 bulbs in by bedroom and 4 Gen2 bulbs in my living room. I can set both rooms to the same blue and you can't tell a difference in the blue. However, if you have 3 Gen1 bulbs and the fourth is a Gen2 bulb... when you set all to blue the Gen2 bulb has a slightly different hue to it. It's not the end of the world, and it is a VERY SLIGHT difference, but it will drive an OCD person crazy. Absolutey love the Hue product line and will continue to purchase and expand.

I love these lights. I bought them for the timer capability, so I could have them come on and go off at specific times. I can also turn them on or off when I'm away from the house with my Samsung phone. You can create routines for on/off times and set colors with the Hue Phone App.

Love these lights! Easy to operate, great for setting any mood or scene you want. A little pricey but worth it.

Overall I love this product and enjoy playing with colors. I have total 10 in my house. But just be aware this is not really working good with smart switches or Apple Home. There are some issues with availability and communication between hubs.

Love this thing !!! For moods and vibes it’s amazing. Can control remotely and gives you an escapism feel. It’s bright!!!! The white is pure white and you don’t need the bridge to work it. I don’t enjoy paying as much as I did for the bulb but it was worth it

Hue Bulbs are always easy to setup and are solid performers. Always respond and once setup with a schedule you can forget them. Rich lights with huge range of color!

Love my new toy! I bought the starter pack & 4 of these extra bulbs. Looking to buy more bulbs to add color to the remainder of the house. Love the various mood settings and the ‘party themes’ when playing music. Very easy to set up and many apps available to control the lights.

Prepare to light your home in every color of the rainbow. Ease of use with the dock and smartphone to allow for integration with your Alexa or smart home devices. Highly recommend.

I have tried almost all the varieties. LIFX and ilumi and now this. The hue is by far the easiest to use. The app is way more stable than ilumi but isn’t as easy to adjust. But the hue takes ten secs to download The app and Sink with the light. Great.

Decided on these lights during a remodel. I’ve been using the regular A26 (I think) in lamps. After installing new recessed lights I knew I wanted the same functionality. They work great.

Phillip's bulbs, while more expensive than some of their competitors, is without competition in ease of set up. The app is straightforward and connects seamlessly with Google Home. We have multiple Phillips Hue lights throughout our home and couldn't be happier.

I've had the first gen hue bulbs in my living room since they first came out. The colors especially greens and blues are definitely more vibrant. If you have older gen bulbs you will see a difference with these.

I wish I bought this bulb a while ago! This one doesn't require and hub or extra wiring, just plug and go. You can adjust the color and brightness the way you like. The iPhone app is easy to use too. I wish it can get more brighter though but still I like it!
