These LED lights can change your rooms. It's as if you painted the color of your walls instantly. The wife loves the fact that she can have them turn on automatically as she returns home.

I plugged this Hue bulb to a desk lamp and it works perfectly for work to non-work situations. Changing the colors was easy with the app and I plan on getting more bulbs.

This lights are great. Wish it had better sticky stuff. Also sometimes the lights don't respond which is an app problem. This is the reason for only 4 stars.

If I had to describe in one word on the Hue lights I couldn't! These are absolutely amazing, awesome, and a whole bunches of others words. Could not imagine how we used to light our house. It's been a year and a half in the making but we are up to roughly 30 Hue lights total with still a few to go. We use the BR30 in recessed 6" cans, and the A19/E26's in lamps and a few 4" cans throughout the house. Incredible how the lights set the mood for whatever theme we may decide to go with. Options are endless and being able to geofence, which is programming the lights to pick up our phones when we leave or come home. Lights will go off or come on if you choose to have them do that. Great if it's dark and the wife is coming home with the kids and I'm not here so she can safely get in bc the lights automatically come on. They are a little pricey but worth every penny and will last 20 to 30 years. So if we ever sell our house, the buyer will have to buy lights for the entire house before moving in. :-)

Bought 20 of these for a project, all but one worked fine, it had to be returned due to incessant buzzing. Nice and light weight, good output.

I started off with 3 bulbs and loved them so much that within 2 weeks I now have 13 of them in my house and will be getting another 3 soon!

Great colors. Turns any ordinary light into something fun with all the colors. Great for changing the ambiance in any setting.

These lights are really awesome, easy to install, easy to use and very cool. Makes watching movies and listening to music really fun

I bought 5 of these for my recessed lighting in my living room. In installing them 3 of the 5 installed no problem, 1 I had to troubleshoot to connect and the last one I ended up returning to Best Buy to replace. Since then they have performed as expected with the exception of 2 of them that make a buzzing sound when they are on bright white and a few of the lighter colors. The lumens could be stronger but they keep the room as bright/light as normal bulbs and the color adds a nice touch.

Don't get the knock off bulbs get the top of the line Phillips Hue Light to light the way to your smart home experience. Get the Hue bridge that keeps you connected to wifi & your lights are good to go with all sorts of colors & apps. Works with Alexis, Sirie, Iphone & the Apple Watch. The light can do so much. The light is worth it!

amazing light bulb and idea, but for $60 it's too steep.

Adding these to a home theater or an entire house adds an incredible unique effect. Long lasting and personalized

Hue Color lamp is cool and with combo of other apps it colors up your room. An app with tv color also change color of your room which again is a great app integrated well with Hue lamp. In short it's fun and nice choices of colors. My only issue with Hue Color is it's price. Yes it comes with three year warranty, but $50 is way too expensive for a bulb which changes color via smart app. Don't get me wrong it's a good bulb, but I won't pay $50 again for another bulb.

We now have four Hue BR-30 lights installed in an outside covered patio. These things can't be beat when entertaining or just for mood lighting. Only 4 stars because $60 is still pricey for one light bulb.

These bulbs are great--they're plenty bright and offer a great range of color and lighting temperature. Though it's a little cumbersome to administer, they integrate well with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Echo/Alexa, and IFTTT. Unfortunately, the price point keeps me from outfitting more than just a room with these things!

This was a great addition to my apartment, it allowed for me to add great lighting and the color choice for ambiance to a room that didn't have a ceiling light. The ease of use with the phone app is also a plus and in combination with Google home it has become one of the best purchases I have made recently.

Great can light for the hallway. With three of these, I can change the color of the lights and make a dramatic effect.

I have been converting many of my light fixtures to smart devices over the past few months. These bulbs were perfect for areas of my home that I could not use a smart switch. The bulbs were easy to add to my Hue hub and work flawlessly with my Amazon Echo and the Hue app. The only drawback was the price.

Great way to light up the fireplace mantle with different colors and to program them to come on at different times

Coolest gadget i've ever owned next to Sonos. You can program lights to different rooms. You can change colors of each light. You can use a picture from your camera roll (of a sunset for example) and the app will read those colors in the picture and then program a custom scene to the lights accordingly. You can use the halloween app they have for sound effects, that are in sych with the lighting, like thunderclaps and lightning strikes (tip- take lights outside on halloween and connect your phone to a large bluetooth speaker and you will have a Hollywood grade haunted house). Set your home and away in the app, and then your phone GPS will tell the lights when you pull into your driveway and turn all your lights on. it works with amazon dot and echo! I was on a flight last week, and used the airplane wifi to hit my lights and spooked the wife and kids from 35,000 feet. Ky kids love them when they have friends over, basement turns into a night club with the DJ app they have. Love these things, I could go on for days. so wicked cool.
