Needed a quick and easy switch for our baby nursery where Alexa isn’t always the best option with a sleepy baby in the room. Works perfectly and even has a magnetic back which comes in handy.

Much better than the previous model, now eliminating the 2 separate buttons for "On" and "Off", and now combining them into one button.

A little different looking than the previous version of the Hue dimmer switches, but still works just as well for my purposes. I use it with the Hue Essentials app for custom configuration.

Lets me remotely control my light without having to do any wiring. Thanks, Philips - love your smart-home products!

This can either be used as a remote or you can stick the back plate onto a wall to use as a switch. The back plate looks a little cheap. You can also control the lights with the app on your phone.

This was the second time I have purchased this item I just have the older version which I still use. Subtle changes from the older version but it does the same job. The only complain I have about this item is that it is not magnet as the previous version which was a disappointing but other than that it's great

Love this! Great addition to my Phillips hue family. I like that the control is mobile and it has five lighting option to choose from without having to open the hue app.

These are a nice update to the previous edition. One button for on/off toggle. So far, the seem to integrate with previous generation lights.

This is a smart switch that turns on smart bulbs, just what I wanted.

Love using this dimmer switch to create custom controls through Apple HomeKit. You must first connect it to a hub. Zero input delay. Use it to control my bedroom.

Philips Hue products are a bit more expensive than some of the newer budget brands, but I love the quality and reliability. This is a great product!

I like the look of this more than the original one, however, the functionality was a bit different across the two models. After a bit of tinkering, I got this configured the way I wanted, but it took time and I believe I ended up using 3rd party (android) apps for a fuller customization.

I purchased two slim downlight and bought this switch to replace the old dimmer switch, works as advertised.

Needed this for the bedroom. May buy one for the living room as we don’t always have a phone or tablet around. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Works flawlessly! It's a newer model, so the top button functions as an on-off switch, and the bottom button allows for scene selection, but to five scenes.

Hue has everything you need for updating you home to a smart home!! Control every light in your house without changing any wiring or fixture!! Love Hue!!

I prefer the old design Hue dimmer switches. I can probably program it, but on/off is now one button at the top, and the bottom button is for changing the scene, which is useless for me. I’d prefer independent on and off buttons. It is also more prone to falling off the wall plate due to the back of the remote being rounded. I don’t see any functional improvement over the previous model and I’d only recommend it if you can’t find an older one.
