I prefer the old design Hue dimmer switches. I can probably program it, but on/off is now one button at the top, and the bottom button is for changing the scene, which is useless for me. I’d prefer independent on and off buttons. It is also more prone to falling off the wall plate due to the back of the remote being rounded. I don’t see any functional improvement over the previous model and I’d only recommend it if you can’t find an older one.

A little difficult to setup but works as advertised

Better than the 1st generation. You can change the colors without the phone...simply using the switch.

Does what is says, I'd like to see more mounting options (ie multiple switches) and a similar option for the wifi bulbs, or compatability to change wifi bulbs through the hub and a smart assistant.

Have a large number of hue products, all are great.

Great product for the hue lights I have two one at my door and the other next to my bed and is better than last version.

Reliable Bluetooth remote and works with hue lights even when the wifi is down. I have them in multiple rooms.

Solid switch -- better than the previous version. Using exclusively as a HomeKit trigger, and there is a bit of a lag there.

This is the best specially for recessed smart lights as your regular switch doesn’t work and this works as a charm.

Allows me to not have to use my smart assistant to control lights which is nice when not having my phone on me.

When you use voice controls for a room where you constantly turn the lights on and off, this is a great option. They are very easy to setup both bluetooth and Wifi. The bottom button of multiple colors of warm and cool are a nice feature.

Easy to use, but not as functional as I was hoping. Would be nice to integrate with other platforms, such as Kasa switches, so I could turn on an entire room instead of only Hue. But works exactly as desribed.
