Very cool little bulbs

My only problem is the big white base on then. While its definite that they are needed they take away from the elegance. But dinner and dessert mood lighting well worth it.

Nice bulb, huge price

This would be cool for holidays, but I doubt that I could justify paying $50 each for enough of these to fill the chandeliers in my dining room or foyer. The app is the best part of the Philips ecosystem because you can customize them any number of ways from brightness to what time they are turned on and off. All in all, this is a good bulb and if you aren't worried about budget or if you only need a couple for table lamps, I would say go for it. Other than that, I would probably pass on this.

It offers a range of color that includes the soft candle-like ambience, bright functional, and silly colors most people would never want in a “candle”. It’s fun to set odd colors, like blue in a traditional chandelier, but the real magic is in setting it up with the perfect shade that allows you to forget that it’s just a light bulb.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Philips - Hue White and Color Ambiance E12 Wi-Fi Smart LED Decorative Candle Bulb - Multicolor has been promoted as a breakthrough in lighting and technology, however at the end of the day is merely an LED light bulb unless you have the Philips Hue Bridge. Without this piece of technology, these bulbs are nothing more than extremely expensive LEDs. You can not change colors or control them without the Bridge. Since this package comes without the Hue Bridge, it is only recommended for someone who as already invested in the Philip Hue concept and has the Bridge from a starter kit.
