The candle simulation is probably my favorite out of all the preset options on the light. All the other preset options also look great. I use it mainly wired in with most of my other hue lights and it works perfectly with the settings on my phone. When I use it on the battery it is just as bright and lasts about 3-4 hours. Great Product!

Works just as expected, easy to set up (as long as you have a previously set up bridge) and is beautifully colored!

Overall, awesome light! I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star for two little reasons. First, the battery only lasts about 3 hrs, but if you keep it plugged in all the time it's no big deal. Also, where the cord plugs into the unit. This design is a little bit strange. You need to insert the cord deep into the light to connect. But to disconnect, it's a little tricky. We've always been told not to just grab hold of the"cord" to unplug anything but, you almost have to do that with this. Other than these two things, I love this light.

It provides a great array of color options. It is also easily controlled with Philips Hue Bridge. Its a good addition to the Hue family of lights.

I ABSOLUTELY love everything that HUE has! Someone showed me their lights, & I immediately grabbed a starter kit. A week & a half later, I had a total of 20+ Friends of hue products!.. I didn't know how I'd like this 1 after reading specs and reviews, but I love it as well. It's perfect on my bathroom. I actually leave it plugged up most the time, but the fact I can unplug it, & it works independently with the button is REALLY sweet!..

Easy to move around. Very lite and not to big. Can put on anything. Easy to control.

I like this thing, it's odd but cool. It is bright enough to give a medium size room a nice glow when plugged in. On battery it is not as bright, manual says 40%. Still bright enough for a accent light though. Main gripe is the way the power cord plugs in, when it is in the bowl does not sit at an angle like it does without it.

I am a huge fan of the Philips Hue family. I have multiple Hue products and I purchased the Hue Go as a night light for the room. I felt that having this would be better than buying two night lights, and obviously would put the Hue color lights in them, but felt the price of the lamps, two color bulbs would be more and not as worth has one Hue Go. The Hue Go has been a wonderful addition to the house, as we placed it in the front of the room and can turn it on and off with our Amazon Echo Dot. My wife uses it on the bathroom when taking baths and will change the color to a mood relaxing scene instead of having the one light in the bathroom on. When I mentioned 'could improve' in the title, the light only lasts for a few hours until it needs to be recharged. Philips informs you that it will only go up to a certain percentage when not plugged in, but can go up to 100% of potential light when plugged in. Also, it's a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, it's a great product to have. You can take it anywhere you want and have light. Hopefully Philips will improve the battery life down the road.

I needed a lamp that was more for atmosphere rather than light. This light did the trick perfectly. The lamp has the perfect amount of softness for the space I was attempting to illuminate, but as soft as it is, it provides ample lighting in most colors. The portability of it is super awesome, as it can be moved without being plugged in. But not for extended periods of time. The battery is not its strongest suit. As with most Phillips Hue lights, if you are already in the ecosystem, it is super easy to link your new lamp and start turning colors and dimming brightness in no time.

This light works well and is infinitely portable. It is a fun addition to the Philips system. HomeKit doesn't work 90% of the time. Amazon Alexa only turns it on or off, but does that well. Not clear if it is the fault of Philips or the other vendors, but it doesn't matter because it affects this product. I recommend as long as you understand the limitations.

I love that this light is portable. I intended it leave it in my living room but have used it to help me around the house in dark places, too. Great color range! I wish it stayed charged longer, though.

This is a product with a very thought of design. It is convenient as it works from both A/C and batteries and is very portable. It creates nice ambience and strong enough for quite a big room.

I have a wink hub and lights but wanted to add these colorful options to my house. Purchased a bridge and a couple of lights. They work great, the colors one can choose are endless and they can be set to Coke on at sunset, a specific time etc...will be adding to my hue system in the future...excellent product!

The Hue Go is a great stand-alone portable light right out of the box but is at its best when paired with a Hue wireless bridge for maximum effect. Six preset color combinations are initailly available but the full color spectrum can be illuminated when it is matched with the bridge.

I really like these. The software works well and the lights are responsive. The color range is full and the darker colors are rich. My only issue is with the ability to stand the light up so it is facing at an angle, as shown in the product image. It can't be placed at that angle if it is plugged in to its power cord. The cord is right at the spot where the back of the light needs to rest against the flat surface. So it just falls right back to its upward facing position. If you remove the power cord and operate it on its battery, it stands at an angle just fine but only lasts a few hours. So I bought some cylindrical bases from a hardware store and have the lights sitting at an angle on top of those since my use case is to always have them plugged in and I always want them at an. Angle, not facing straight up.
